Beautiful waterfalls are less than a half hour drive away. There are local businesses who can help you pursue these kinds of activities if you don't bring your own equipment.

Rich in history, vibrant with art and alive with culture the Tweed Valley has a smorgasbord of experiences to be enjoyed.A car is a necessity in this area, as public transport is quite scarce. Cycling is popular in the area but you will need to be keen and fit as there are a lot of hills!If you are an Art lover, in Murwillumbah, (just a fifteen-minute drive) you will find the world-famous Tweed Regional Gallery. The gallery has recently gained great accolades for its latest acquisition – the Margaret Olley Wing, named in honour of one of Australia’s most famous artists.Take a short, scenic drive to any of the surrounding villages and you will find a range of cafes in charming settings. In most of the valley’s cafes and restaurants, an emphasis is placed on fresh ingredients and locally grown produce.The Village of Uki is a 15-minute drive away and has cafes as well as a weekly Farmer’s Market every Saturday. We are situated 30 minutes from Byron Bay by car and only 25 minutes from the Bluesfest site. In just a 20-minute gorgeous drive you can be walking on the uncrowded Wooyong Beach.Nimbin, Australia’s most famous ‘Alternative’ Town is a fifty-minute drive.We ask that you would treat our property as well or better than your own and expect our guests to be well behaved, and environmentally aware of our sustainable and quiet rural lifestyle. Please note this is not a 'party' site. We are designated 'Land for Wildlife' and so most suited to those who seek peace and quiet.Owing to the terrain, this property is not suitable for children, but adults are welcome to wander around the beautiful gardens.Very sorry but this site is not suitable for those who have to make use of a wheelchair.Campfires are allowed in the fire braziers provided. Firewood is supplied.To protect the abundant wildlife we also have to have a no pets policy. Please note there is a 50-metre uphill incline of 15 degrees to access the site. Welcome to our secluded property on the idyllic Crystal Creek with private swimming holes and beautiful mountain views. Located on a small hobby farm, we offer a private camping experience for just one group at a time. Our campsite is called 'Creek Side' as it's located right next to the creek on a flat grassy patch of land. A great little swimming hole is right next to camp. Just 75 metres from Creek Side is an outdoor hot-shower and flushing toilet available for guests and an Infared Sauna which can be booked for an additional fee. We are located 15 minutes from Murwillumbah, 30 minutes to Cabarita Beach, 40 minutes to Gold Coast Airport; 50 minutes to Byron Bay. Well behaved pets welcome by request (we have chooks & cows so your pet must be friendly!) Firewood available for purchase. Your campsite is on a grassy knoll of Myocum Farm with sweeping views of farmland and the Byron lighthouse in the distance. You will be the sole visitors and thus have all the space and amenities to yourself. Your onsite amenities include: a firepit with benches and table, bbq plates, free kindling, firewood available to buy, a hot private outdoor shower, your own flushing toilet, a tap and handsoap, a bucket and hose, bins for recycling and rubbish, a swing, and a small cubbyhut with board games and a bocce and cricket set. Please note our rates are very competitive and cover 3 visitors in our base rate. During your stay you can just kick back and relax overlooking the farm which produces beef cattle and fingerlimes, but with the convenient distance to towns and beaches, you can also use it as a base to very easily explore all the region has to offer: Byron Bay and Bangalow (15 mins), Brunswick Heads (10 mins), and Mullumbimby (6 mins), all offering great dining, local market, and retail experiences. the area has a plethora of activities to pursue: swimming, walking, fishing, great surfing, sea kayaking, ballooning, skydiving, horseriding, golf (eg renowned Ocean Shores golf club is 20 minutes away), and the wonderful rail trail for bikers or walkers can be accessed at Mooball, a picturesque 20 min drive away or try out the new mountain bike trail at the vey pretty township of Uki in the hinterland. Beautiful waterfalls are less than a half hour drive away. There are local businesses who can help you pursue these kinds of activities if you don't bring your own equipment.
