Malabar Farm is a working Beef and Equine property situated in walking distance (600 metres to the Hotel) from the idyllic village of Uki. Steep in farming history, was originally a part of the logging district and later operated as a dairy up until early 2001. The farm nestles in to the foothills of Uki and the Twin Sister Mountains. The southern boundary is 2 klm of Tweed River. 3 permanent creeks meander through the property providing an abundance of wild life and camp sites to dream of. The long stretch of Tweed River frontage provides for fishing (bass aplenty), and canoeing. The equine training and breeding section of the farm is to be visited by appointment most days, and for safety reasons is not commonly accessible. Petting of small animals is an optional extra for children and beginners, can also arrange a riding lesson in one of the 2 enclosed arenas, as another optional extra cost.Escape to your own private slice of nature at Riverbend — a secluded camp and caravan retreat with peaceful river frontage and plenty of room to breathe. A nice little spot by a babbling brook, close to town and to the Mt Warning hotel. Heaps of room for us and our 21ft van. Very enjoyable.

We had a great time camping at Malabar Farm in the river bend location, peaceful and refreshing stream to have a dip and even I caught a few bass of the mornings and afternoons Also spotted a couple of platypus. We all left satisfied. Thanks William we will be back.

Absolutely love this farm! Been a couple of times and will definitely be coming back! So private, dogs loved swimming in the fresh creek. Owners are super friendly and welcoming Would recommend it to everyone! 🙌🏻 10/10

This is such a beautiful farm in a lovely part of far nothern NSW. The mountain views all around are sublime and the running creek wrapping around the camp site makes for very pleasant and calming background noise. There was bird life all around, and the horses in the paddocks surrounding were also a treat to see.

River Bend was an amazing spot and very private. The sound of the river running next to us was soothing and the road noise minimal. William was a very accomodating host. It is a very short walk into Uki should you choose to visit the pub for a meal or coffee. Highly recommend.

Horseshoe Creek campsite at Malabar Farm was beautiful. Very serene, peaceful, private with a flat, grassy area to park campervans and spread out. William was a great host - met us when we arrived and showed us the camping area. Hot shower and flushing loo a short walk away was very convenient. Short drive or walk to nearby Uki - very sweet village with friendly locals, good cafes and bakery and interesting shops to browse. We also explored Murwillimbah town about 15 mins drive away.

We had a great night at Riverbend. Its a private site with plenty of choices to set up camp. The creek was beautiful, not too cold. You do jear some road noise but ots nothing major. Such a great place to relax and unwind.

Had a great time. The area was nicely mowed. Afternoon shade was great. Caught a few Bass. Wish I had more time to explore the river. The grand children loved seeing the horses. The location was great just 65 km for our family to come down from Gold Coast and 165k/m for us to come up from Clarence Valley NSW

My Wife and I, along with our dog, loved camping at River Bend with this one on the list to return to. Lovely big open site and very private. William is a great host and was very accommodating meeting and welcoming us on arrival and showed us to our site.

We loved Malabar farm stay Our spot was horsehoe bend and we will definitely book that spot again Beautiful peaceful spot very private Could watch the creek and see the horses on the land We are a full set up but there was use of a toilet and showers if needed

Great, hassle free and private location. Very close to Uki. Has a nice small flowing waterway wrapping around campsite and host had mowed site prior to our arrival. Was also grateful to be able to have shower on our way out. Highly recommended if you are fairly self sufficient. Great spot for an over nighter.

My partner and I went camping here for the weekend and we had a really nice relaxing time. The owners were really lovely and easy to communicate with. Very welcoming and helpfuls as well. A little less privacy than what the images suggest but still completely worth the stay. Really pretty and well maintained area and the animals and stargazing were a pretty good bonus We did have to deal with a lot of horse flys (obviously out of the owners control) just keep in mind when choosing this place. But overall would definitely recommend to staying here

Great location...facilities very clean. Had a lot of fun kayakng up the tweed river. Our camp spot was so lovely, the tranquil sound of trickling water and the sound of different bird life. Walking distance to pub. We will be back.

The site was peaceful and private with plenty of flat ground for setting up. There was a lovely little stream that ran along the back and we even saw fireflies at night! The amenities block with a hot shower is only a short walk from camp. We had a great stay.

We recently stayed for two nights at this camp spot with our two young kids (5 & 2). While the listing looked promising, the experience didn’t quite meet expectations. Firstly, the site wasn’t as private as the photos suggested — the main residence is very close by and overlooks the campsite, which took away from the sense of seclusion we were hoping for. The area also hadn’t been maintained; the grass was long, and there were weeds throughout, including castor oil plants. A quick mow would have made a big difference. We were also disappointed when we attempted to take a short walk with our kids down the public road at the entry to the property. They had little plastic bikes and were enjoying riding the gentle slopes. However, the host approached us and told us we weren’t allowed to be there due to safety concerns, even though it’s a public road. We felt this was a bit over the top — we were supervising closely, the kids were having fun, and there was no issue at the time. Firewood was a bit too overpriced for very poor timber too. Burned through two bags within a couple of hours for $40. Overall, the stay was okay, but a few small changes and a more welcoming attitude could have made it much better

Stunning Views and Relaxation

We’ve just returned from an incredible stay at this beautiful campsite. A well-maintained gravel road leading all the way to the site. An elevated spot, the campsite has sweeping views over the picturesque south and west corner of the farm and Tweed River. To the north, you're treated to an incredible view of the impressive dam with two timber jetties. We spent a great afternoon/s lounging in deck chairs, soaking in the sun. It’s just a great place to camp with easy access, this site ticks many boxes. We’ll be back!
