Andrew Drynan Park is situated on Running Creek, 47 km south of Beaudesert and 19 km from Rathdowney on the Lions Road. The drive from Brisbane will take a couple of hours. It has an impressive backdrop formed by Mt Chinghee. Running Creek is a lovely flowing creek which is very inviting in summer and the park offers a great bush camp. Toilets, BBQs, picnic tables and swimming. BYO drinking water. Pets to be restrained. No showers—a dip in the creek will keep you clean but please don’t use soap or detergent. Directions: At Rathdowney, turn left into Running Creek Rd and travel approximately 17km south east. Campers & Day Trippers Rules: The Park is for everyone to enjoy, so please adhere to a few simple guidelines while enjoying this beautiful park. By using this park you agree to the following rules. All vehicles entering the park must observe 10 Km per hour speed limit. Fires must be extinguished prior to departure. Park users must clean up their area when leaving, by taking all rubbish, including food scraps and disposable nappies with them, so the next users can enjoy the Park as well. Do not burn your rubbish. It must be taken with you! The disposal of nappies in the grass around the waterline, and in fire pits, is a serious risk to human health, the health of the creek, surrounding stock and the ecosystem! Please be respectful of other camper’s space & privacy! Do not set up on top of other campers. Generator use is restricted to 4 hours per day between the hours of 2pm to 6pm. Dogs must be on short leads and confined to your campsite at all times. No music or noise after 10pm, noise level must at all times be at an acceptable level so as not to disturb other users. No antisocial behavior. No camping on creek banks. No playing around toilet block area. No livestock to be kept on the park. No cutting down trees. No person to travel in the load area of vehicles. Zaytuna Farm Eco Hamlet is a family friendly farm, situated on a sixty six acre (27 hectares) property that fronts Terania Creek opposite the village of The Channon, Northern NSW. The property is completely off-grid and contains 800m of creek frontage with fishing spots, a swimming hole for campers, and abundant wildlife ideal for bird watchers. Zaytuna Farm Eco Hamlet has recently become a community of 8 private residences that share this beautiful property. We kindly ask that campers respect the residents’ privacy, however if you spot them on the common grounds, they are always up for a friendly chat. CAMPSITE The campsite is situated on the communal grounds at the heart of Zaytuna Farm Eco Hamlet on flat lawn surrounded by bamboo and the sounds of the rainforest. We also have 10 raised camping shelters on offer, suitable for small tents for 1-2 people. Campers have close access to bathrooms built from eco-friendly shipping containers with composting toilets and warm showers; a fire pit, a kitchen garden to share from, an education/function center (available for hire), a common sheltered area to relax with wifi, and an equipped shared kitchen. OTHER NOTES We strictly have a no drug and alcohol policy. Due to our policy and customs, we kindly ask that no pork products enter the property, and that reasonably modest clothing is worn (shoulders down to knees covered is fine) including around the swimming hole. Please note this is not the place for partying, but a place for connecting with nature and nurturing wellbeing. We kindly ask that all rubbish is taken off the premise as there are no bins. Most cars are safe but if you have a low set car or if you are delicate with your car I would not recommend. Only 30 mins from natural arch and 20 mins to great fishing and crabbing in the tweed river. Dog friendly (must be well controlled no aggressive dogs). Drop toilets and hot showers. There are 2 cabins available each with private portable toilet and hot outdoor showers. Campfires permitted ( when fire bans not in place) and wood can be purchased in advance during booking process. Once you're here you feel all your worries and stress drift away as you unwind and relax in the Manor estate and its surrounds. Nestled in a wildlife corridor, our 1.4 acre property is surrounded by trees and nature. There are two campsites separated by a communal picnic table and fire pit which ensures your privacy. There is also a toilet block with a toilet. The spot is located in the backyard, away from the main house where the owners live. A stone's throw to everything the Gold Coast has to offer. Less than 10 minutes to Tallebudgera, Palm Beach and Currumbin beaches, 15 minutes to swimming holes and waterfalls in the hinterland and to the thriving restaurant and nightlife scene in Burleigh or Coolangatta. 30 minutes to the heart of Surfer's Paradise, 45 minutes to Byron Bay. 5 minutes to supermarkets and shopping at The Pines and 19th Ave shops. As we are in a nature corridor, please ensure you do not collect firewood from the property grounds and take your trash out with you. There is a petrol station around the corner (corner of 19th Ave and Guineas Creek Road) with bins, firewood for sale and a water tap. Please note that being 1.4 acres, our property is ideal for overnight stays and using as a base for a trip to the Gold Coast as it is quiet, private and has a stellar location. It is truly seclusion in suburbia. For those who plan to spend most of their time at the campsite and are looking for a much more wild, bush camping experience - we suggest you book a site further inland where you will find larger properties to camp on.
