Nestled right up against the escarpment at an elevation of 450m, this high-end, off-grid 40 acre property effectively offers your own private slice of Macquarie Pass National Park - amazing views, giant cedar trees, fern forests, cascading waterfalls and palms surround. It feels remote but it's only 90 min from Sydney, 30 min to Kiama and just 15 min to the shops. The property also offers the only hiking path up to the top of the escarpment for some truly amazing views. As of September 2025, many of the trails on the property have been degraded by the rains and are now challenging for 2WD cars. If you're towing or it's wet we recommend AWD or 4WD vehicles. Since this is coastal rainforest and it has been very wet, expect leeches anywhere it is damp. These are easily kept at bay with deet and or trousers tucked into socks. Access is into a valley on a well maintained unsealed road but there are some minor causeways making it unsuitable for busses or long low slung vans. An ordinary sedan will do for Billabong and Dad's camp sites but you will need some power for towing and a 4x4 to tow out in any rain. Riverbend site is only suitable for 4x4's and off-road camp trailers. Welcome to this remote piece of paradise! Rhapsody is located in Gingkin,, which is not far from Oberon NSW, about 3 hours west of Sydney. Campsites are hidden in a remote valley direct frontage to the pristine Hollanders River, adjoining the Kanangra-Boyd National Park. There are two private campsites on grassy river flats surrounded by eucalyptus forest. The sites are very secluded so you will see lots of wildlife and you're guaranteed not to see any other people! Only one group can stay at each campsite and campsites are on different parts of the river so privacy is guaranteed. In dry conditions 2WD is fine for Wallaby flat but in wet weather, 4WD is required. Platypus flat is 4wd only. You can always park at the top of the hill and walk down first if you're not sure. Dog friendly. Campfires permitted in a designated area when restrictions aren't in place. Gather your own wood from fallen timber on the way in or BYO wood. Not much firewood available on site. Both campsites can get quite cool as they are low in the valley. This is a wild and remote area. Guided remote bushwalks also available for those who are fit and adventurous. Both campsites have a pit toilets, cold shower, spring water on tap, picnic tables.. Water is sourced from a distant spring in the mountain and is gravity fed to the site by above ground pipe which heats the water during the day. There is a small area where you can get Telstra mobile reception at the cattle grid on the way into the property, but very limited mobile reception in this area. If you are on Optus or other networks you won't get any reception. There is no mobile reception at camp - perfect for disconnecting and reconnecting with nature!

We are directly next to the HWY so sometimes there is road noise, but it's a great location for an easy stopover. Easy access for caravans, keeping in mind the weather as like in all areas it becomes soft when wet. Please note, while we do permit more than one car per site booking, we only allow 1 caravan per site. So if you are in a group with more than 1 caravan, you will need to book multiple sites. Any questions, please let us know. We have Fire Pits in key locations around the farm PLEASE DO NOT move them as they signify each spot for camping. A beautiful and serene 40 acres just 5 kms from the wonderful Bundanoon village, the gateway to the Morton National Park, in the wonderful Southern Highlands NSW. We have horses, chooks, ducks and peafowl and a beautiful chocolate lab, Cleo. An easy and 10kms from the Hume Hwy there are numerous camp sites, a couple by the oak grove, a couple by the dam and with lovely rural vista. Kids stay free and are not included in the site capacity. Sites are easy access with a clear track. All sites are dispersed so you can choose where you stay. We live on property and are happy to share and let people enjoy our beautiful location. The morning birdsong and evening are restorative. The sunrises and sunsets amazing. Far enough away to unwind and relax, close enough to get a caffeine fix if needed! Coming into summer camp fires are subject to weather conditions and fire warnings. Campers must be self-contained. Our private acreage backs onto the southern tip of the Royal National Park, so the outlook from the campsite is all leafy trees. Welcome to this remote piece of paradise! Rhapsody is located in Gingkin,, which is not far from Oberon NSW, about 3 hours west of Sydney. Campsites are hidden in a remote valley direct frontage to the pristine Hollanders River, adjoining the Kanangra-Boyd National Park. There are two private campsites on grassy river flats surrounded by eucalyptus forest. The sites are very secluded so you will see lots of wildlife and you're guaranteed not to see any other people! Only one group can stay at each campsite and campsites are on different parts of the river so privacy is guaranteed. In dry conditions 2WD is fine for Wallaby flat but in wet weather, 4WD is required. Platypus flat is 4wd only. You can always park at the top of the hill and walk down first if you're not sure. Dog friendly. Campfires permitted in a designated area when restrictions aren't in place. Gather your own wood from fallen timber on the way in or BYO wood. Not much firewood available on site. Both campsites can get quite cool as they are low in the valley. This is a wild and remote area. Guided remote bushwalks also available for those who are fit and adventurous. Both campsites have a pit toilets, cold shower, spring water on tap, picnic tables.. Water is sourced from a distant spring in the mountain and is gravity fed to the site by above ground pipe which heats the water during the day. There is a small area where you can get Telstra mobile reception at the cattle grid on the way into the property, but very limited mobile reception in this area. If you are on Optus or other networks you won't get any reception. There is no mobile reception at camp - perfect for disconnecting and reconnecting with nature!

Yerrinbool is 1 hour from Sydney and a great spot to spend a weekend away, 15 mins from Bowral and 10 mins to Mittagong There are animals on the farm including ducks, chickens, goats, sheep and sometimes even baby cows. The property does need a little clean up but the rear of the property is nice and tranquil. We are directly next to the HWY so sometimes there is road noise, but it's a great location for an easy stopover. Easy access for caravans, keeping in mind the weather as like in all areas it becomes soft when wet. Please note, while we do permit more than one car per site booking, we only allow 1 caravan per site. So if you are in a group with more than 1 caravan, you will need to book multiple sites. Any questions, please let us know. We have Fire Pits in key locations around the farm PLEASE DO NOT move them as they signify each spot for camping. Just 10-15 minutes out of Campbelltown, still a quiet location and really well presented. The camp/van sites are open for easy access. We stayed by the dam and appreciated the shade trees and the fantastic pool. We’ll be back with our mountain bikes to explore the nearby Dharawal National Park.

I thoroughly enjoyed camping at Wedderburn. It was my first solo camp and i loved it. I stayed near the damn and was accompanied by Robert’s three doggos throughout my stay. The amenities such as the bathroom, pool and a shower was very accessible, and Robert also made sure that he was accessible should there be any issues. I will definitely come back again!

Fairly secluded camp sites, loads of shade, grassy & level base. A peaceful property that is close to Nowra, the excellent Worrigee Sports club a short drive away. Loved our stay, lots of interest around the property, including a handful of friendly sheep. Would easily recommend to anyone. Just bring your insect repellant, but that's a given with surrounding farmland.

Large cleared area with direct water access. Awesome paddleboarding and fishing. Very level ground so really easy to set up camp comfortably. Fire-pits already built (will try them out next time when there is no total fire ban active) Very peaceful, camp sites are very spread out, can't hear or see your neighbours. Great tree cover. All round fantastic getaway, will definitely be back and try a couple other camp spots on the property!

Second time camping at Wombat Hollow. Loved it even more. Went for an early evening stroll this time and saw so many wombats. The bird song was gorgeous evening and morning. Camped up at the Pecan Wood camp. The view from the top of the rise is wonderful and worth being a little further from the creek. Pecan gets sun all day so perfect for cooler months. If we visit in summer we'll stay at one of the shady creek-side camps.

We are definitely coming back here! The hosts were lovely no nonsense folk … our kinda people. Clean and beautifully maintained. Right on the banks of the Shoalhaven and not too far from Nowra for the essentials. What a gorgeous place … birdsong all day and fish in the river. Bliss! It was so good we stayed an extra night. But don’t tell anyone… it’ll be our secret. Shhh.

Very large site for cars, tents people and pets. View out to southern part of the escarpment. Very well protected, shaded and cool.
