Please be advised that we do not permit campers to arrive after hours, you need to arrive prior to 5.30 when the office is open in order to get the site allocation,
1. We are not permitting people to set up in the dark, it is totally black, no lighting in wilderness zone and far too difficult to locate your site, and it disturbs other campers.
2. If you have other campers coming make sure you book on the one booking otherwise you will not be placed together.
Our property is nestled in 2000 acres of totally private wilderness in the centre of the lush valley in the heart of the Blue Mountains
Experience the magnificent ancient rainforest glen with a canopy of tree ferns, caves and huge towering gum trees.
Savour the moment and feel the magic of simplicity in our world of nature. Renowned for their spectacular scenery, the Megalong Valley Farm offers fresh mountain air, history and wildlife.

BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
PHONES: Phone reception is good, there is a Telstra exchange on the property.
ROADS: Roads around the sites are unsealed, but most normal cars and the average SUV handle it okay. The road down into the Megalong Valley is tar sealed, very scenic but winding.
ICE: Bring your own ice
WOOD: Timber for fires can be purchased at reception. We are an environmental biodiversity precinct so don’t permit damage to vegetation.
FIRES: Plenty of existing fire spots
SHOPS: The township of Blackheath is 15klm away up on the Gt Western Hwy, none in the Valley
SHADE: Plenty of shady areas
WATER: We are on town water
TOILETS there are 3 men's and 3 women's, plus 8 at reception, plus 3 in pioneer and 3 in corner paddock
SHOWERS: 3 gas hot water showers in men's, 3 in women's, plus 2 in Lodge
NOISE: Shutdown time for music is 10pm - no exceptions! but you can still enjoy the fires - quietly.
THINGS TO DO:
SCENIC RAILWAY 25 Klms away at Katoomba and 40 minutes travel time
BIKE and WALKING TRACKS: Plenty of bush tracks, plus walks up at Porters Pass and Blackheath
Dont forget to bring along some bread to feed the horses and donkeys - they love it
You are reminded to allow enough time to arrive for this property.prior to dark, which is 5.0 in winter.
It is difficult to find a wilderness campsite in the dark and disturbs other campers.
We are requiring ALL vehicles to get registered PRIOR to going up to the site, resulting from so many vehicles trespassing at the venue and causing nuisances for other campers
Please indicate the details of cars such as make, model , colour and rego number prior to arrival.
We must also remind campers that this is not a venue for noisy partying as we are a quiet wilderness environmental zone. We do not tolerate it and will remove offenders. Other campers treasure the peace and quiet.

Buranga Farm is a small organic family-run farm on 60 acres in the Noosa hinterland only ten minutes from Peregian Beach. The property is largely flat with a hill on the Eastern side and a ridgeline at the very back of the property. There are plenty of cleared open areas as well as a mix of lightly treed and native vegetation.
Site one and two are located on the hillside looking west to Mount Cooroy and are best suited for couples.
Sites three and four share a large open grassed area the flows down to the main lake that offers great swimming. Site five overlooks the lake and opens into a private bush area. All areas of the property are open to campers to walk through and explore.
The farm comprises a series of ponds near the road that are in the process of being renovated for Red Claw Crayfish. There are fruit trees and veggie gardens and chooks around the house paddock. The balance of the land is either grazed by our small herd of cattle and our 2 donkeys or set aside for regeneration.

Relax in this peaceful, family friendly campground, nestled in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range and nearby Mount Elliot. Enjoy the 70 Acres of shady grounds with plenty of wildlife, including pretty faced wallabies and abundant birdlife.
Located conveniently 45kms south of Townsville and Magnetic Island ferry terminal,45km north of Ayr and 8km north of Giru.
The 20-acre dam is full at the moment (February /March '26) . Great for kayaking or SUP. Still has some weed for the birds!
On arrival, powered sites, please phone our on-site caretaker Dylan 0488 611 706, and he can assist you to find a spot that suits you and your group. Unpowered sites can choose anywhere suitable for them.
We do have internet reception. Occasionally reception can be weak depending on what the network is doing. Generally, it is not a problem.
Bring Mosquito/sandfly spray especially if camping by the lake.
Campfires allowed. Wood for sale, $15 cash per milk crate, from caretaker Dylan. Please return crates to camp kitchen for re-filling.
Fire rings are available at the sites. Please leave them where they are as moving them is destroying the surrounding areas. Thankyou.

We have a beautiful deepwater lake that's perfect for swimming and canoeing. The property is traversed by several rainforested creeks and ravines, which are perfect for adventure hiking and rock climbing.
We can also take you horse riding around the farm for a couple of hours or to the local winery if you prefer a longer ride. We cater for all levels of riding.
We have many panoramic campsites for you to choose from. These are suited to anyone with the swag, tent, camper, caravan, or motorhome. You must be self-sufficient, with your own toilet, and we kindly ask you take all waste when you go.
For those who prefer the comforts of home we have a bunkhouse which sleeps 10 and has electricity, water, flush toilet, shower, stove, microwave and TV.
Linen is not supplied.
If you are driving 2wd, or 4wd towing a caravan or a big trailer and GPS takes you through Mountain View Rd - do not go that way - go through Dayboro Rd.
For those without transport Dakabin train station is 25 min from the farm. Pick up and drop off to the station can be arranged. There is a wide variety of shops and restaurants less than 10 min away.

The closest dump point is Caboolture Showgrounds (140 Beerburrum Road, Caboolture 4510), which is open 24/7 and approximately 15 km from The Magic Pond.

Each camping site is by the river, prime position for fishing, canoeing, and swimming. Based on availability, you are welcome to choose your spot on arrival. All options are grassed and level.
You will have access to pit toilets (3) otherwise, please BYO facilities. Small campfires are welcome in the fire pits provided, or BYO firepit (permitting there are no restrictions in place at the time). Firewood can be purchased at the time of booking.
We’re pet-friendly! Please note, however, that we are a working farm with ongoing activities and resident animals, including livestock and farm dogs, so all pets must be kept under control at all times. Aggressive, disruptive, or potentially dangerous dogs of any type are not allowed — especially restricted breeds (e.g. Pit Bulls, Bull Mastiffs). Only friendly dogs are permitted, and we reserve the right to ask you to leave if your dog is deemed unsafe or aggressive upon arrival. If you have any doubts, please message us prior to booking.
Also, please ensure kids are supervised at all times, particularly around the river. Lifejackets are recommended.
During your time here, visit the local farm gates in Tumut, Batlow, Tumbarumba, and Adelong for their delicious high-country produce. There are also some beautiful swimming spots and walks to discover in the region, as well as good facilities in town, including the local swimming pool and shopping centre. Enjoy a local brew and bite to eat at the Tumut brewery. Bahwidgee is just 3km from the Tumut town centre - so close you could ride in, or even walk.

Unfortunately, we have had some issues with local council, we ask that you follow these simple rules extremely closely failure to do may cause us to reject your booking and may incur penalties to both of us as the landholders and also the camper.
1. STRICTLY No Caravans, RV's, Tents or Any Camping site is to be set up within 50 meters of the creek.
2. No more that 20 people camping on the property at one time.
3. Zero impact to the land and surrounds treat it like you would a national park.
4. All waste must be bagged and taken off site with you. The rubbish bins in the street are not ours. They belong to the people that live in the valley. All rubbish must be taken home with you!

Flinders peak is a good attraction for those who like a challenge to get to the top for awesome views of the local area.
This can take between 1-2 hours to get to the top
Mount Elliot and flinders peak are in national
Park area. Which is a 5 k drive from our farm
Parking area in the national park ,there are walking trails from the carpark area.
Good for bird watchers and those who like to get outdoors and do some hiking or moutain climbing .
How to get to us? We have two ways in .
Option 1:
Via Flagstone onto Bushman Drive – then into Wyatt road follow to the end and turn right onto undullah road follow for 5 ks .
we approximately 14 km from the Flagstone Shopping Centre.
Please note: 10 km of this route is gravel road. 4x4 vehicle access is recommended.
Option 2:
From the Centenary Freeway roundabout, at ripley head 21 km along Ripley Road, which continues and changes name to Undullah Road.
This route is 4x4 access is recommended with some narrow bends – please drive to conditions. We do have 2 wheel drives make the journey !

If you’re visiting with friends or as a group, please make Booking per site we have areas for groups that want to be away from the main open area if you would like this please contact us so We can facilitate private areas for groups.
•we have toilet and shower facilities available near the camp kitchen up on top of the hill area and rubbish bin provided on site. Which is 150 mtrs from the main open space area.
The camp kitchen area and camp ground can be booked for private functions when available.
Fees apply. This area also has free wifi, foxtel large tv for those who like there sports and don’t want to miss the game.

Moogerah Lakeside Bush Retreat is a small family owned and operated campground and outdoor education retreat on the shores of Beautiful lake Moogerah in the heart of the Scenic Rim, SEQLD.
We are conveniently located only 2km from the Cunningham Hwy and are set in a quiet bush location surrounded by the spectacular scenery of the Scenic Rim. We have a range of accommodation including powered and unpowered camp sites, group camp areas, bunk style cabins and a fully self-contained cabin.
There is never a shortage of things to do, you can take a canoe or boat out for a cruise on the lake or try your luck at some fishing. Moogerah is well known for its large Bass & Yellow belly. There is a good bushwalk at the property that takes you out to Striker point and into the gorge waterfall with spectacular views along the way. If you have a 4wd you can take a short drive up to Spicers Gap National Park. Here there is a short walk out to the Governors Chair lookout with spectacular views of the Fassifern Valley and beyond.
We currently don't have a boat ramp however once you have launched your boat at the public boat ramp we have a nice bay in front of the campground where you can anchor your boat.

There is no potable water at any of the sites. Bring your own.

* Only 1 caravan per site allowed.
BOATS
Boat launch locations are available for campers at designated areas within the campsite and to comply with our SEQ Water licence:
* No parking within 20 metres of the water.
* Vehicles must stay on the designated road and cannot drive down to the boat ramp.
* After launching, vehicles and trailers must be parked back up the hill within the Pointro boundary.
* Marquees and similar structures must be at least 6 metres from the water’s edge.
* Boats may be moored during the day but must be removed overnight.
Breaches may result in fines from SEQ Water, which will be passed on to the responsible party.
RULES
- NO travelling in the back of boats, trailers, jet skis being towed
- NO travelling in the in the back of utes.
- NO trail bikes.
- NO Smoking.
- NO excessive noise and no noise after 10pm.
- NO parties.
- Do Not Empty waste water on the Ground.

We have 4 powered sites on Dingo Ridge hill top.
We have different locations to camp at and some along side the creek, Platypus Bend, Possum Patch, Froggy Flat, Wallaby Way and Hidden Valley.
We have 6 toilets a Hot shower, our water is filtered, but not suitable for drinking, we advise you bring your own drinking water but we do also sell drinking water, insect repellent and mash mellows.

There is also many quite and beautiful small towns to visit, or just sit back and enjoy a cup of coffee and the peace and quite.

Logan Park Farm is an historic 4th generation family farm with beef cattle and cropping set on the Logan River with beautiful surroundings in the Scenic Rim.
The property was first settled in the 1840’s and became the headquarters of Tamrookum Station in 1878 when Robert Collins and his family purchased the property.
Just over an hour from the Gold Coast and Brisbane.
At Logan Park Farm we have camping grounds and Murphy's Country Accommodation - a three bedroom cottage.

We had such a wonderful stay at Sandy Creek Homestead, especially at Platypus Bend. The area was incredibly relaxing with beautiful views, and camping right by the dam made the whole experience feel so peaceful. We loved making use of the kayaks, took our stand up paddle board out on the water, and even managed to catch a fish!
The hosts were super friendly and accommodating throughout our stay, which made us feel really welcome. Such a thoughtful touch having fresh mandarins delivered to us on departure too.
We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful setting.

I’m a camper but Habitat Noosa made this the easiest camp I’ve been on in a long time. All that is needed is provided, beds and bed linen, somewhere to stow your stuff and lock away valuables, clean bathrooms and a kitchen with a large fridge-no ice or solar mats.
You’re in a melaleuca forest clearing, by the lake and gorgeous birdsong. Kangaroos and other wild life making appearances every so often.

A lovely natural property. Lots of tree's and camp spots.
Camel Hill has flat area's to camp on. A great winter area.
Wow, all the animals are so cool and friendly. Camels, horses, (big and small), kangaroos, goats, sheep, ducks, chooks and geese.
Portable toilets clean. Large shower.
Very peaceful stay.

This is a well set out camp. Large camp kitchen, clean amenities, washing machine, dryer.
We were met by the caretaker he was very pleasant. He also did a run around with firewood, $15 a bag. Everyone was spread around the campsites. We will return. Pet friendly.

It's a beautiful land with a nice pond and river access.
The sites are spread apart nicely and most are very level so easy to set up on. Convenient fire pits and little adventure tracks are a nice touch. The resident geese and ducks are a fun addition. Plenty of different birds to watch if you're in to that.
The land is quite flat with wide open spaces o noise does travel at night and during the day and evening you can hear the highway from certain points but that fades away.
The toilets were clean but there are only two so sometimes a short wait. Also there is no hand soap included and there is a $10 fee to include toilet facilities in your package.
Overall we liked our stay here and would come back. Wish we had one more night to catch a big flat head

We loved staying at Megalong Valley Farm! The staff were all lovely and the property was serene. We especially loved meeting all the animals, in particular the farm dog Bozley who made himself at home at our campsite on our first night! The facilities were great and very well cleaned. They provided all we needed for a few days get away. The stargazing by the campfire was certainly a highlight. We will 100% be back again soon for another perfect getaway!

We happened to book over a weekend with thunderstorms… but honestly, we still loved it. You can hear the waterfall from the campsite, which was such a nice touch, and the shower was hot (huge win in the rain).
The hosts were lovely, really kind and welcoming… and you can tell they’re genuinely passionate about the property and put a lot of care into maintaining it.
Even with all the rain, our 2WD SUV handled the way in and out just fine.
We’d definitely come back (maybe next time with sunshine!).
