Family-friendly
Recent Hipcampers say this Hipcamp is great for families and kids.
Previously the property was a cattle farm and piggery owned by the same family and passed down the generations. More recently about 25 years ago it was rented to a builder who had a saw mill operating here. We purchased the property about 10 years ago with plans of creating Estate Lodges Caravan & Camping. Our pet-friendly property offers unpowered sites for campers to enjoy all this area has to offer. Explore our bush walking tracks, enjoy some bird watching and see what wildlife you can spot! Your evenings can be spent around supplied fire pits gazing at the stars. We have soft drinks & firewood for sale. Please note, access to power may be possible to arrange, at an additional cost. If you require power, please let us know when you send through your booking request and we can advise further. There is access nearby to horse riding, hot air ballooning and skydiving. We are also closely located to Canungra golf course.

  • Review summary

    Generated from real Hipcamper reviews

This campsite makes a strong impression with its peaceful atmosphere and attentive host, David. Many visitors appreciate the well-maintained amenities and the chance to enjoy nature, mentioning the creek, walking tracks, and the opportunity to see fireflies. A few reviews note that the sites can be close together and that insect presence, such as mosquitoes and ticks, can be an issue. Overall, it's a popular choice for those looking to disconnect and enjoy a serene camping experience.

    Great long weekend spot

Camped in a 10 m camper trailer at Mountain, Creek & Rainforest Camp, Oct 2026.

    Doesn't recommend

I tore my plantar tendon in my foot 4 days before my booking and I was on crutches and unable to walk. I contacted David through the Hipcamp app and told and explained that to him and asked if we could move the booking to a later date as I was still interested in staying there but also that being so close to the time that I could understand if that was not possible- he didn’t even bother reaching out to reply back to me so no l wouldn’t bother

  • Mark B.

Tent camped at Mountain, Creek & Rainforest Camp with kids, Oct 2026.

    Recommends

Easy to get to, while feeling far enough away from the daily grind. David’s land had clean and simple amenities, each area has its own fire pit. Kids loved exploring along the creek. Will be going here again.
