This national park makes you feel like you're on another planet—a stunning one. Hike and bike here!
Yes, you'll have a bit of a drive to get here. But wow, it's worth it. (Take Highway 128 for the scenic route, or drop straight south from Highway 70 to get there a little faster from Moab, UT).
Spectacular red sandstone arches—literally thousands of them—fill the park. What do you take photos of first? Maybe it's the famous shot of Delicate Arch or the majestic beauty of the Windows section of the park. It could be the eerie spectacle of Balanced Rock, or the multiple trails taking you through Devils Garden.
Get up early to marvel as sunrise lights up the arches. Or grab a winning shot at sunset before returning to your campground to relax around the fire ring. It's all totally worth the sand you're going to get in your shoes.
