Inglewood is a 130-acre property currently running beef cattle and sheep. The property has 15 acres of remnant stringy bark scrub which abuts the Heysen Trail. This private campsite is contained within the scrub although campers have access to the whole property. There are 11 bespoke sites available but only 8 sites are offered at any one time so campers can have their privacy. The whole campsite can be hired exclusively for large groups - contact me direct for booking details and costs. A wood package can be purchased for $50 the communal fire circle. We offer sites suitable for camper trailers, campervans, cars, rooftop tents, tents and swags (sorry, no large caravans). During the non fire ban period all fires must be contained in the fire pits provided. Some firewood is supplied for you. Please bring firewood if you intend to have a campfire for an extended period or you may purchase pink gum $15 for 20 kgs. A communal camp kitchen, barbecue, rain water and tables available. A composting toilet is available as is a solar and rocket shower system. Colloquially known as God's Country the property is conveniently located 1hr 20 mins from Adelaide, 14 mins from Victor Harbor, and 20 mins from Pt Elliot, Middleton, Waitpinga and Parson's beach, Hindmarsh Falls and Normanville. Other nearby localities are Deep Creek National Park, Newland Conservation Park, Springmount National Park, Granite Island and the Kangaroo Island ferry. The popular Belicious Belgium Cafe is a 60 min walk or 5 minute drive from the campsite. Walkers on the Heysen trail can access the campsite 100 metres away. An erected walker's tent is available for booking. The tent is located away from the campsite in the middle of the scrub and has chairs, tables and a fire pit for walkers use. Please note that the campsite has a no noise/music policy after 9pm The Scrub Campsite was honored to have won 1st place for best campsite in South Australia for 2024. All campers are to respect other campers and the land that they are camping on. Plelease We look forward to welcoming you to The Scrub Campsite!

The Scrub Campsite, Inman Valley
Had a fantastic time.
Mark welcomed us when we arrived and showed us around the various campsites and let us choose the one we liked. We chose Scrub site 1, affectionately referred to by Mark as the honeymoon suite. It's nice and secluded and private and we were left to set up camp and enjoy ourselves without any hastle. We had a fantastic time and will be going back. Mark is so friendly and relaxed and just wants people to enjoy themselves.

Lots of wildlife
Was a very peaceful camp.. Lighting could be a bit better . Sinage into the property needs to have reflectors or solar lights as it's hard to find where your going. Toilet steps are very steep and not safe , no railing to hold onto to get up ghe stairs.

Great campsites in nature
We found a private site as a couple with our camper trailer. We were greeted on arrival and recommended a choice of a couple of spots. There was much more vegetation than I expected, so we felt quite sheltered and private despite other campers using the campsite in general. I was expecting sites to be a bit further from each other, however, my husband reminded me that compared to caravan parks we had plenty of space and weren’t able to see others in their sites. (We did hear other groups for most of our stay but that’s just the luck of your fellow campers!) We didn’t use the camp kitchen or “shower” (both quite rustic) however both good to have at a campsite and better than no facilities at all. The compost toilet was comfortable at doing what a toilet needs to do, but we chose to use our portable toilet at our site instead. Mark popped in to ensure we were enjoying our stay which was personal and lovely. Close enough to Victor Harbor for meals or supplies. Good value for money for off grid camping amongst nature.

The Scrub Campsite, Inman Valley
Unfortunately the camp site for us was uncomfortable due to dusty conditions and campsite was not flat. Attempted to use bbq but this was difficult with inability to light. Positive was absolute quietness and away from it all feel. Owner and caretaker met us which was nice
