Far and Away Cabin, California
This property use to be an old milling town. Yep, an actual town existed here at one point, complete with a little school and all. Once in a while you'll be hiking along and find a tin soda can or a metal toothpaste tube or something of the like. It sat vacant for some time until my husband purchased it. We've worked tirelessly to restore this land back to it's natural, healthy state (planting hundreds of native trees, building up the soil, etc etc). There are roads on the property that go every which way (mostly to dead ends since it was used to cut down trees and bring it back to the mill). In 2008 a wildfire swept through the property, and we had to start back up again planting trees and getting all the permits necessary to fall dead tress and the like. The natrual vegetation is going nuts and we're happy to say it's looking good!
