Private organic micro farm CSA and Equine Rescue. We offer drives to the camp site. There is room for multiple tents or just a couple larger ones. Staying here on the farm with friends is a great opportunity to offer support, lend a hand, pitch in. We share all our rescued animals with the people who come here for art, archery, and other activities that involve our rescued dogs, cats, horses, goats, pig, and cow. We do all of this because we love the animals we help, We welcome help and we also have times when everything is perfect... it does happen!!
We offer activities, trail rides, food from the garden seasonally. We prefer you donate something for any food you eat. It is a lot of work to have a farm and we enjoy sharing it with people who understand it is not free for us or without daily care and hard work to keep our gardens growing.
We have farm animals so we have flies, animal noises and farm smells. We have dogs we do not lock up. Our 3 dogs bark at new cars and love all people. All our animals are part of our family and will not be relocated for you. We do our best to keep the grounds clean we do have chickens and other animals that poop. Keep in mind you are visiting a real farm.
Please no driving on property past parking area, it is a sensitive habitat. We are easy going and friendly. Please get to know us if you like. Ask us about our programs and vision for the future. We are open and fun and we are also busy so we will be happy to give you space..
We welcome you to share the farm with us. You must know farms have seasons, our property has time of change and time of abundance. We thank you for your kindness and respect. Some people may visit when things are busy and animals are moving in and out of our rescue. you should expect it to be organic and not always kept perfect especially when we have to move manure and move dirt. Sometimes the horses are not here. it is never the same every day.
We do 100% of the farm work here. it is a lot of work and we sometimes have weeds, we have other times when we have recently groomed the edges. you have to be willing to roll with the time of year you drop in. We have a very welcoming and giving nature and we do hope you will be self sufficient we are not a luxury farm we are a real farm.
Nobody here is "Paid" to serve you. You will need to bring your own towels, personal items, toiletries, and will need to clean up after yourselves. It is a sensitive environment that needs to be preserved.
You can make a difference by spending money wisely in ways that support farms arts, culture, and human connectedness.
ALL FUNDS SPENT HERE SUPPORT Artistic Cultural Organic Eco Centered EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND OUR RESCUED ANIMALS. Thank you for your support. We love you and hope to see you on the farm... soon
