A Place to Camp

It is quite difficult to overstate the superior nature of the camping here. Simply gorgeous, and Gene and his wife have taken such care to create an environment that feels in total harmony with the surroundings and nature. We found a lovely location alongside the creek, and were able to relax instantly. The views, both into the canyon and out to the ocean are equally breathtaking. So so highly recommended.

Beautiful place to camp

Beautiful area! The creek is wonderful and the beach is only a short walk away. 5min walk max. We stayed next to the lumber mill and we had plenty of room for a family of four. The parking at the mill is tight if you have a large vehicle but doable.

great spot!

really cool and definitely is a unique spot. Gene makes sure that your stay is what you have expected. Gene makes it sure in the description that RWR is a steep short hike from the base. Please do not get disappointed if that is true, because it is. The view is to die for though. For us it was well worth every step. Thank you, Gene.

Amazing sunset

We showed up just an hour before sunset, since that was amazing, less than 100 yards from camp is an amazing beach. Thank you so much.
