We couldn't find a single thing to complain about during our stay at Audrey and Richard's farm. This was easily one of the most comfortable, well-organized, and spotless places we visited on our entire cross-country journey from Boston to Seattle.
Beyond the beautiful property itself, we were delighted by our conversations with both hosts. They're genuinely fascinating and inquisitive people – the kind you could happily chat with for hours! Their thoughtfulness extended right to our departure, when they sent us off with fresh fruit for the road – such a sweet and generous touch.
One night wasn't enough time to fully enjoy such a wonderful place, and we're already planning our return visit.

This was one of the best camping experiences we have ever had. From booking, arriving, & to leaving the Moon Stone Farm, Audrey’s communication was amazing. She made our camping experience so easy! We accidentally forgot to pack butter and sugar, she kindly invited us to her summer kitchen and provided us with everything we needed for our stay. She also gave us fresh herbs and peppers for our supper that night. She would check up from time to time to see if we needed anything. When we where here we rented bikes and enjoyed a nice canoeing experience at her little beach on her land. This place gives such a beautiful zen and peaceful vibe. We would 100% percent visit this place over and over again.

We had a great time camping with our scamp camper ! There is a big flat open spot perfect for a camper nestled in between some trees. We were right next to the ducks and goats and my son absolutely loved them. Edwin’s land is such a groovy spot we will definitely be back !

Proximity to Sibley State Park and Glacial Lakes Trail is fantastic. The privacy and quiet is great… dark skies, bird sightings, dragonflies! Placement of our camper was important; when we arrived deer flies were out. We strategically positioned our camper to look across the meadow and sunset, and catch a constant breeze so no issues with flies. We were alone and privacy was amazing, but there is room to find level spots for several large campers. Site was far enough away from houses that we could run our generator. Site is ideal for one or a couple of campers that are completely self- contained. Owner was quick to drive us to the spot when we arrived, made sure we were satisfied, and directed us to the bike path.

Nice and Level spot. There is water and Electric. The water looks to be shared with Pole B site, which didn't effect us due to also having family on that space. A little of a jog to the shower/restrooms. We enjoyed our stay.

I loved the private island and area. We enjoyed our stay as we had our own privacy and could fish right by our tent. One thing that we didn't like was that the campground is right next to a graveyard and gave off spooky vibe. Other than that, very nice place.

Here’s one for the bucket list: go back in time to America’s native roots and stay the night in a tipi at Upper Sioux Agency State Park. It's rich in Native America history, so be sure to check out the history trail and educational exhibits to learn about the land on which you stand. Take to the 18 miles of trails by day to explore the river valley and transverse prairie knolls. You’ll be exhausted from all the photo ops along the way, but that's a good thing. Words can’t do the sunsets here justice; you’ll just have to come see one for yourself. So, take a load off your legs by posting up on the banks of the Yellow Medicine River and throwing a line in as early dusk arrives. Then, once the sun has nearly disappeared, pack it up and head to your tent, spaces for which there are plenty to go around. For a vibrant and culturally rich experience, come visit during the annual Upper Sioux Community Pow Wow. You're bound to have a beautiful stay!

Careful here in late summer. There's a cow pasture nearby and the flies were completely out of control (constantly had flies landing on me from the time I got out of the tent in the morning to the time I got back in) when I was here in August '20. Absolutely beautiful scenery and lots to do, hopefully they mitigate the fly problem somehow.

The sites here are not very private but if you go in the month of October to the primitive sites along the river , you will most likely have the place to yourselves .
