Description

Button Bay got its name from button-shaped clay deposits located on its 130 mile shoreline, not just ‘cuz this park is cute as a button. Button Bay Campground is the perfect spot to connect with nature, in the most civilized way. Bring your sailboat, kayak or canoe or rent one on site. Button Point Natural Area is nearby, where you can hike through the mature forest. Where’s our party people at? If you’re celebrating one for the books, rent the Pavillion which is free during the week and can hold up to 300 peeps!

If you're going here: http://www.champlainmakerfaire.com/ and really, you should, this is the closest and most beautiful campground in the area. There's a dog trail and a dog beach, and the water is usually still warm enough to swim in September.
