If you're going here: http://www.champlainmakerfaire.com/ and really, you should, this is the closest and most beautiful campground in the area. There's a dog trail and a dog beach, and the water is usually still warm enough to swim in September.

The best sunsets over the Adirondacks - The beach at Button Bay Campground.Your dog will love you forever if you take him to Button Bay.
