Description
Whitefish Lake Rustic Campground will make a nature poet out of any unassuming backcountry camper. What’s more romantic than arriving at your bountiful, green campsite tucked into secluded wilderness in a canoe? Whitefish Lake offers nature-watching at its most meditative, but don’t forget to treat your drinking water or you may end up with a more exciting trip than expected, and not in a good way! The Timber-Frear Canoe Route connects Whitefish Lake to Lost, Frear, Timber, and Elbow Lakes by portage trails, and all but Lost Lake offers at least one backcountry campsite to rest your tired arms by the lakeside campfire.
