We welcome you to stay and enjoy our farm and recreational area! This is an active farm as we raise cows, pigs, chickens, turkey, and fish. We graze our animals around the farm throughout the seasons. Depending on when you stay you may see a variety of farm life in different stages. Book your stay in April or May and you are bound to see baby chicks and pigs! We offer a camping space beside our three-and-a-half-acre pond that is equipped with a tiny house with electricity, an outside grill, picnic bench, fire barrel, and an electric heater for cold nights. The tiny house can comfortably sleep three adults as it is furnished with a twin-size bunk bed and a tri-folding memory foam foldable bed (75 x 25 x 4 inches). If you plan on bringing more than three guests, we recommend bringing a tent or small trailer/pop-up camper to help accommodate your trip. While you're here take a canoe out or fish from the dock, visit the diverse farm animals, and enjoy nature on a small family farm. And don’t forget to stop by our onsite farm store and purchase some food for the grill. We look forward to seeing you on The G Farm!

 Sincerely, Farmer Justin and Kim

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! The firewood and eggs were brought to site, the dogs were friendly and guarded me well. It was 6° over night and I was very comfortable in the cabin.

Justin gave me a nice tour of the farm, and although I have some anxiety with farm animals, I felt comfortable going into their pens.

I learned so much about regenerative farming and what it takes on a daily basis to keep up this type of farm.

It was a great way to spend my Thanksgiving!

Beautiful serene stay, exactly what we were looking for. I stayed for two nights with my 8Y old daughter. November is cold and we stayed warm with the provided space heater and an electric blanket. We brought a hot plate to make meals and it worked out great. The outhouse is close by. We loved Otis, the family dog that watches over the farm. He came and laid on our porch for part of the night and was back in the morning to check on us and say hi. Secluded area from the rest of the farm. It was nice and quiet for me to catch up on work. My daughters only complaint, we didn’t see any cows, only pigs and chickens. Otherwise, she didn’t want to leave and is already asking if we can go again. Host was friendly and helpful, borrowed us a frying pan that we forgot when packing!

Of all my Hipcamp stays, this one might have been my favorite. I went in early November when it was a bit chilly and brought plenty of blankets to keep myself warm. The tiny house was snug and wonderful. There was a fire pit, lake, dock, picnic table, benches, and two admirable and jovial dogs who greeted me regularly and kept me feeling right at home. I cannot wait to go back. It was absolutely peaceful and darling.

I love staying on this property. They provided much more than I expected. The only downside was the interstate noise. But it is near a lovely Pond. I was able to go fishing. All the gear was provided. The resident 'Good Boy' their dog Otis kept me company and kept me safe in the middle of the night. I love the fact that there is electricity. And since it's cold this time of year, the provided space heater was a welcome luxury. There is a Kwik Trip within 2.6 miles of the property. Just in case you need anything at 10 at night, or 5 am. I will definitely consider visiting again soon.

I really enjoyed my October stay here and they were really friendly and helpful! It was easy to find their farm, and the welcoming committee of their two farm dogs were sweethearts! The cabin was small and cozy, but big enough for what I needed. The outhouse was easy to spot down a little path, and there was waterfront access to use the canoe, kayak, or paddle boat. The cabin does have electricity, a porch light, and a space heater for chilly nights.
The night sky was beautiful too - the Milky Way is visible and there wasn’t a lot of light pollution to get in the way. I stopped at their farm store on my way out and I’m excited to use local, organic meat! It’s about 20-30 minutes outside of Appleton, and High Cliff State Park was close enough to visit as well. Thanks for a great stay!

It was my first time ever camping alone and I felt super safe at the farm especially with their dog Otis sticking around the majority of the night. The tiny house was adorable and most importantly warm 😊. I stopped at the farm store and got chicken, eggs, mushrooms, and onions. I tried the eggs right away (amazing)! I will definitely be back the next time I need to unplug. Great experience!

My husband and I absolutely adored the campsite Justin's farm provided. It was a secluded spot tucked away and right in front a pond. We were able to park our car right next to our campsite so we were able to grab things we needed from the car easily. During the daytime, we enjoyed walking around the farm and seeing the pigs, chickens, and cows. The campsite include a small room which we were able to fit a full-size air mattress on the ground. There was electricity in the room so we were able to charge all of our things. We brought our own cooler, portable stove, chairs, and hammock, and that's all we needed to spend a relaxing weekend at Justin's farm. The best part was playing his two dogs, they came by to say hi to us every once in awhile and we absolutely LOVED it.

I can't recommend this campsite enough and I am certain that we will be back!

I didn't stay there. We drove in, took one look and left. It was pretty bad. He doesn't show pictures of the inside of the tiny house with good reason. It was so musty smelling and none of the windows could open. You couldn't leave the door open because the cloud of insects coming from the stagnant pond. If there was a porta potty it couldn't be seen. I could go on but it's actually causing me pain to have to write this. You have to drive through the cow pasture to get to it and i would suggest a good cleaning and paint job. I would like a refund for the two nights that I booked but Hipcamp doesn't make it easy to find that button. Lesson learned i guess...😥 Also, I sent a message to the host via the app to let them know that we would be arriving around 7pm and they never bothered to respond.

Response from Justin, the Host, on October 7th, 2021

Hi Darlene, We are a bit taken aback by your comments here as this is not what you told us directly. Upon your arrival, I greeted you and told you to let us know if there is anything you need or we can help you with. We do have pictures of the inside listed. We’ve just had so many appreciative guest post pictures over the years you might have to look back away. We will work on uploading more. In regards to the “musty smell” our neighbors had just laid manure down in their cornfield that day. We cannot control the odors in nature or how our neighbor farms, but we do apologize you were not expecting the possibility of farm smells while visiting a farm. You must not have noticed the window behind the bunk bed and the window on the door both open and are totally functional, allowing for a cross breeze. No, we do not have a port-a-potty but we do have an outhouse! It’s located next to the tiny house, just follow the path. I wish you would have asked for help if you were having trouble finding it. We would have been more than happy to help! And yes, you do have to take the grass driveway and pass cow pastures, hence our campsite name, Camping with the Cows! :-) We are sorry the tiny house did not meet your camping standards. We take pride in maintaining our property and making sure the tiny house is disinfected, cleaned, and well-kept for each guest. We have never had a complaint about the exterior paint job. Personally, we think it has character and gives the rustic farm feel on the outside. Also, I want to make it clear we did not receive a message from you about arrival time. If we would have, then we would have acknowledged you. That may have been a technical error or human error. I would be happy to screenshot our messages and share them with you if need be. In regards to the refund, Hipcamp discloses refund policies very clearly on each listing. We rarely have weekend availability, which is why we have a cancellation policy in place. We appreciate your feedback and wish you well. God bless, Farmer Kim and Justin

Justin was kind and welcoming. The bunks and cabin were perfectly comfy. It's a cool place, and I wish we had more time to look around a little bit more.
