Unsafe and unmarked road

Road was very hard to find and navigate. After an hour driving on unmarked roads, found the right road and it was in terrible condition as one reviewer wrote a year ago, now it's worse. I'm in a 4 runner and it trashed my suv, I eventually turned back worried about getting stuck. The overgrown sage gouged and scratched up my suv. Can't rate the site, since I never made it there due to safety concerns.

Misleading, hurt our cars

Almost impossible to get to - the instructions are unclear and the pin in the listing is incorrect. It said 3:15 from seattle but ended up being about 4:30 since you have to drive past the pin and turn left on rt 2 and drive on a literal dirt “road” with weeds above our hood. It gave us two flats, and scratched the sides. We decided to skip the second night as we didn’t want to ruin our car for another hour to go out for a hike and come back. Not to mention we had to figure out all of this by ourselves like a puzzle! The actual campsite had a rock fire pit and lots of room, but the ground was basically all rock so i couldn’t use my tent that is reliant on stakes. Had to sleep in my car. The view was the only good thing and you can’t really see the water if you camp comfortably back from the edge. The host texted back relatively quickly until we got there, so I called him to confirm, then he explained more. Just would not recommend for a fun relaxing time

The site was absolutely amazing. There was quite a bit of privacy and the views were incredible, especially of the canyon and the stars at night. Getting there could be a little tricky, but easy if you prepare. Make sure to ask for directions from the host and compare what he says and the pictures in the listing to a Google earth satellite view. If you do that, it’s easy. High clearance is necessary, but 4wd definitely isn’t. The road there is part of the adventure, we enjoyed the road quite a bit. I will definitely be returning at some point in the future!

We didn't make it to the campsite, roads were poorly marked, very rough to pull a travel trailer. GPS cooridinates were fine but google maps couldn't find our location.

Solitude at its finest!
We had an amazing stay! When we first arrived we were a little unsure if we were going the right way but looking at the satellite maps on google helped us to reach our destination. Once there this private overlook with land as far as the eye could see was better than we could have imagined. Hiking the surrounding areas took our breathe away and the solitude this site provided was the perfect getaway! Johannes was great helping with directions and answering any questions we had. 10/10 would stay here again!

Terrible. We contacted customer support to help us get our refund. We stayed at a local campground instead.
