Past trip
in Personal Creekside Camping, CaliforniaReally enjoyed camping here! Mary was the sweetest and was able to loan us her air mattress pump and even a canopy to keep the sun off of us while we were camping. Its a great location and very close to some fun hiking trails. Our kids (4 and 1) enjoyed running around and the sound of the creek was very relaxing! One night a skunk woke us up when it jumped on the table trying to get into our food (and now we know to put our food away when we go to sleep lol) Highly recommend!
Past trip
in Windsor Family Farm, CaliforniaCute cabin and cute animals!
Had so much fun here! Kim was the best host and we left with my 3 year old talking about how she was his new best friend :)
There is so much for both adults and kids to do. The cabin is adorable, breakfast was delish.
Highly recommend if you are on the fence!
Past trip
in Jug Handle Creek Farm, CaliforniaThis was our second time at Jug Handle and we enjoyed it even more than the first time! The first time we came my son was only 5 months. This time around he is 3 and had a blast running through the meadow and on the trails! The best part is that the farm has fewer sites which means fewer people and a more quiet and chill camp experience.
Wonderful hiking trails and the ocean is right next door. It is a bit cold in the summer because itâs located next to the pacific, so recommend you wear layers like you would in SF!

in Austin Creek State Recreation Area, CaliforniaStephanie M.has mixed feelings towards this listing.
(Site 10)
The location is beautiful. Unfortunately dogs are not allowed on any of the trails so you can't do any hiking with your dog unless you are on the road where cars drive (totally not dangerous at all).
In addition the camping sites themselves are located extremely closely to one another and there are lots of families with very loud children running thru the campsite all hours of the day and night lol. Keep that in mind when booking.
If you aren't looking for peace and quiet in the wilderness, meaning you don't mind oud campsites next to you, then this is the place for you.
Stephanie hasn't gone on any trips yet.
Hipcamp Hosts can leave an optional review of their Hipcampers after the trip is completed. This is where those reviews from Hipcamp Hosts will appear.

Wilderness Resort Campground
in Trinity Outpost Wilderness Resort, CaliforniaCampsite far away from it all
Nestled in the heart of nature, Trinity Outpost offers an idyllic escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The tent sites are spaced fairly far apart and there are clean bathrooms with flushing toilets! The tranquil creek running through the campground added a soothing soundtrack to the serene environment. Our gracious host let us borrow a cooler when we forgot ours! We even saw a deer right by our campsite on our second to last day! Highly recommend!
