We loved our visit & would absolutely come back again. So fun for us and our 2 year old daughter to see cows, pigs, chickens and more on the farm. Angela and her husband were so welcoming and we loved learning all about their animals and the farm. Highly recommend!

in Gallatin River Getaway, Montanawe feel so lucky to have found Rogers listing and stayed on his land. During a cross country RV trip with our toddler and dog we were looking forward to finally spending 2 nights somewhere in Montana, and this spot was perfect. Totally secluded and private, he has a ton of land and only wants to rent to 2 renters at a time so that everyone really can have wide open spaces to themselves. Incredible sunset and night sky. It has no hookups, etc. but we could use our generator and the kitchen in the RV to cook. A short walk away (albeit through some very high grass) we had our own totally private beach next to the river where we played all day and enjoyed the trains and kayakers passing by. Thereâs a shooting range within a short distance away so you can hear them shooting when outside, basically during all hours with sunlight. But the sounds that initially felt a little shocking to us and especially our dog, we all got used to pretty quickly. Roger was a very sweet host. Helping us find our camp, offering suggestions for where to fish in the river, or find things in town. He was really available and super helpful, checking in on us once each day we were there to make sure all was good. Would totally recommend, and would stay here again!
Past trip
in Linden Camprground, IllinoisWe had such an amazing time! What a hidden gem. We were the only guests and it felt like we had our own private farm, lake/beach to play on, and land for our daughter and dog to run around. We loved the cows next door who came over to say hi to us. A nice gentleman met us to show where to hook up our RV, and he even got our fire started for us. So sweet. Only downside was there were a lot of bugs. My husband got really bit up. Just make sure to bring the bug spray and enjoy!
Shannon hasn't gone on any trips yet.
