We loved the space on Pendry & Jay’s land. The Stargazer field is a HUGE space and the tent pitched was perfect. There was gratuitous amounts of firewood everywhere and the nighttime views were spectacular. We loved being able to hike on the land and it’s only about 10 minutes to town if you need anything. The outhouse was clean and homey. Would highly recommend and we hope to stay again with friends!

We have really sweet memories of my dog going on walks with Bear in the morning. Love being off-leash. We were able to fill up our small jug with water, and relax on the hammock until the stars came out, and took some great photos of unique star formations I have never seen before! The toilet really was an experience, I am very appreciative of all that goes into building these ~ Would love if listing had mentioned the bell tent is empty on the inside - not for any reason other than mentally being prepared for that. And tent could use a little cleaning love on the inside, we weren't sure if some of the stains were tree sap or poop :-) Thanks again Pendry & Jay~

Cute site with great tent and wonderful stargazing! The bell tent is huge and convenient. The property is very sweet as are the owners, and our pup loved playing with their dogs!

Overall it was a quiet, rustic and remote experience. The host was very pleasant in greeting us. Note that the site has a pit toilet. The site was not the best for a travel trailer. We nearly did not make it to the site due to the steep loose gravel uphill in the last stretch. If traveling in an RV, I would recommend asking for alternate directions. There is extremely low clearance in the driveway that nearly took the bicycles off our car's roof and scratched our trailer. If we were traveling in a car and staying in a tent, it would have been a nicer and less stressful experience.

Magical Eco Yurt
Beautiful place! Wish we would have had more time there, we did have a chance to check out the property before leaving in the morning; spectacular! So many fun things to do without leaving the area. We will have to visit again soon!

Beautiful little spot surrounded by trees, we were so at peace! Kids had fun playing in the flowers, finding cool bugs and spiders. My husband and I relaxed the whole time, listening to the sounds of nature, and just simply resetting. It was exactly what we were looking for. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your magical place.

Great place, hosts were available and gracious but left us with our privacy. Love the wishing tree. Sooooo thankful for the bell tent. And the first night they brought down a screen shelter for the mosquitos, and sun during the day! My 8 year old girls loved exploring and playing on the round stage a short walk down a big hill. The outhouse was beautiful. We had a great weekend!

Such an awesome experience! Ambiance is very relaxing (just what we needed), the Yurt has almost everything for a glamping trip! We loved the fireplace! Kept us really warm in a cold weather. Stars at night are wonderful! Super lovely stay ☺️ we enjoyed it a LOT ⛺️

This yurt truly is magical. It was incredibly cozy and so wonderfully decorated. We visited on a pretty cold and drizzly weekend, but the weather was no match for the wood stove, warm ambiance, and welcoming energy in that yurt. Not to mention, the land that surrounds the yurt is the gorgeous: it's the perfect mix of calming open sky and friendly, mature forest. This stay totally exceeded our expectations (and we were expecting a lot :))

We really enjoyed our stay. The site was clean and easy drive. The composite toilet was clean. It had running water to wash hands. There was also potable water available. We used the bell tents. They were sturdy and quite spacious. I will definitely come back to this site. Keep in mind, there is a one mile trail at the site, rest of the trails are driving distance. The local town is beautiful with lots of food choices.

They were great to communicate with prior to booking arrival. We got in late but Jay was super friendly and helpful. We had use of the bell tents and they were great. The location was easy to get to and just as described. Campsite and restroom were clean and well maintained.

The directions to the site could be improved. Distances rather than travel time, please! Once we found it, everything was great. An enchanting place. No mention of kitchen or shower when we were met by Jay. We did not need those, so we did not ask. There is a picnic table in the meadow campsite, which we appreciated. I highly recommend Stargazer Field at the Woods.

the site was a great way to end a 2 week road trip, super chill and spacious. the host, their baby & dog all came out to greet me and my pup. they were warm and invited us to feel free to explore the property and let them know if i needed anything. i was being lazy and slept in their tent structure which is the only thing i would have done differently. sleeping in my text without the rain fly would have been epic so i could fall asleep looking at the stars.

We camped at the stargazer field in July and it is a perfectly named spot, you could see so many stars hanging out on the hammock. The site matches the description and the restroom is located not far off.
The hosts were very hospitable, and shared some great insight about living on their property and growing their food. They were very helpful and we had a great stay, we will surely choose this again if we are in the area.

Pendry and Jay were super welcoming. We brought our own tent, but they have two lovely bell tents set up, so we were able to use one of them. Their outhouse was lovely and they live in a super quiet peaceful wooded area. My boys loved being there, as did my husband and I. The land we stand on feels touched by magic… little night lights, gardens, hammocks. I highly recommend it.

Great site! It was very cute and the hosts were lovely (especially Bear the dog) who will come say hello and look for a little appetiser. The firewood bundle was ready to light when we arrived. The mosquitos were out at sunset, but the bug spray they had provided worked wonders. Thanks for having us!

It’s such a beautiful and peaceful space. The hosts are very thoughtful with hammocks, a fire pit, water, and the nicest pit toilet I’ve ever used.

Adorable and indeed magical! Jay was very easy to communicate with. The place was easy to find. The yurt was nicely decorated, clean, and most importantly warm. Well equipped campsite— lights, French press, small kettle with kettle burner. We went at the end of January. We were concerned with COVID so some friends camped outside the yurt by the “stargazing field” that was like 100-300ft away. There’s a charcoal grill, firepit, practice disc golf ?basket, picnic tables, wishing tree, and hammock for you to stargaze at night. Jay helped us heat up the sauna and we had a wonderful time between getting heated and jumping out to stargaze while we cooled off. The compost outhouse is clean and cutely decorated for an outhouse. Jay and friends were on the property when we stayed over so when we had questions they were available. They have a dog, bear, who is so cute and friendly. During the day we went to the nearby brookstrail golf course to play disc golf, it was all out first time but the course is in a redwood so very beautiful, like hiking in the redwoods while doing an activity.

Pendry and Jay’s yurt is wonderfully cozy and nestled into the woods, with a round skylight in the middle that lets you see the trees and moon. The woodburning stove and heavy blankets kept us warm in January, and the bed was super comfortable.
FYI there is a camping stove and kettle, but no cookware/cups/utensils, so make sure to bring those things if you want to make dinner! It’s pretty far and dark to drive anywhere.

Magical Eco Yurt
This place was so special! We went during a rainy weekend, and the wood burning stove kept us all cozy and toasty. Lil Bear, their sweet pup, showed us around the trail behind the house. If you're looking for a magical forest getaway, this is your spot!! Will definitely be returning!

WOW! This was one of the loveliest camp sites that I’ve stayed at. I only got to stay there for a short night due to my own travel issues, but it was very cozy and fun place to throw my tent up. There was a nice clean bathroom a very short walk away, and lots of room to spread out and enjoy nature. The hosts were very kind and helpful even though I showed up late at night. I would definitely come again to stay here and would recommend to anyone that would like to get away from life and enjoy some chill camping in comfort.
