Tapalou Tree Tent

in Towapa Creekside PhotoFarm, New MexicoMexican Hat Rocks
in Mexican Hat Rocks, UtahJust what we needed in the middle of our road trip! The campsites are easy to find, and really well spaced out so you have plenty of privacy to enjoy the stark landscape, the starry night, and the up-close view of the balanced rock for which the town is named. We're thankful JL makes their land available for boondocking.
raven tree campsite
in Hermitory, New MexicoThis is such a special spot. Arvo and his pup greeted us warmly when we arrived, and it was wonderful to get a tour of his off-grid sustainable property. Our kiddo was enchanted by the ducks and chickens too, not to mention the resident raven, Chaco. Arvo set up the tent area thoughtfully, with a sheltered and well prepared pad, a covered cooking area, and an outhouse nearby. The view from the land is incredible, rolling hills and forested mountains. We'll look forward to stopping by again on our next road trip.
Singing Nail Cabin
in Santa Fe Treehouse Camp, New MexicoSuch a peaceful spot on a secluded hillside. Ciana and Brad are warm and welcoming. We loved staying in this thoughtfully furnished cabin and our hammock overlooking the nearby mountains was a great spot for a morning coffee. Next time we'll plan to stay longer!
