Camping in February was cold but the sounds of the creek and animals nearby were very pleasant as well as the stars at night!

I had the most delightful time at the ranch. Juliet was so lovely! Wild horses wander the roads, and the nature is stunning. On owl even sat in the tree above my campsite. I would absolutely return again!

Charming little spot tucked away in Placitas. I camped at this spot during my hunt and it was perfect for what I needed.
I would highly recommend getting there before dark to set up as it can be tricky to back a trailer in.
Overall, it was worth the money and a nice place to retire after a long day of hunting.

Juliet was wonderful! She accommodated me arriving late and even came out to guide me where to park as I had arrived around 10pm. Peaceful spot by the creek and I bought fresh eggs that were so brightly colored!
Would recommend only truck or car and not travel trailers as the area down to the parking is pretty tight.
The goats cracked me up! Slept great by the creek! Was a quick layover just to rest and would use her place again as a layover! Very safe as I was traveling with just me and the dog.

Great site! Felt so safe staying there as a solo woman traveling! Juliet was a welcoming and friendly host! The bathroom situation was so nice to have right next to site and was done up well!

Greetings! Juliet’s Was so kind to us when we arrive to her place! It was so amazing sleeping in our tent underneath the shade, and to hear the water from the stream was so relaxing! It was so private and clean on here property! She was very knowledgeable about the area and checked on us to make sure we were ok! I would actually stay there again if I needed to; blessings to her and her beautiful oasis!

We decided not to stay there. I am not certain we were in this site. I think our rig was too long so we were told by the host to get there early and she would put us in a different spot. The place we were designated to be was not good. There were thorns and burrs and not enough space for us, much less our friends who were supposed to be in site 4. The host complained about our dogs even though she was fully informed in advance.

Easy to find and Juliet was extremely friendly! We pulled in right as the sun went down so it got dark quickly, but it was easy to navigate and pitch the tent.
The stars were beautiful and our dogs had so much fun hanging out!

We didn’t stay very long but this was a nice spot outside of ABQ to spend a night. Easy to get to and not too hard to find. The stars were awesome too!
We arrived well after dark and struggled a little to find a good spot to put the tent, but if you have some headlamps and walk around a minute or two, you’ll be alright.

Beautiful property in a very cool neighborhood outside Albuquerque. We enjoyed the many animal sounds at night and wild horses on the way to our campsite!

Pete the “unwild” horse (as host Juliet referred to him) met us at our car looking for carrots and was super friendly.
Juliet was such an amazing host— offering coffee in the morning, which she really didn’t have to do. Her Akitas Austin and Hannah were so friendly— Austin hung out with us all night and watched over our site. Couldn’t have asked for a better camping companion.
Juliet also has fresh chicken, goose & duck eggs available for sale— my camping companion and I fried some up in the morning and it made for the best, freshest, breakfast.
Walking along the creek (though mostly dry) was stunning.
Fire wood provided for the pit, and a grate on site made it super simple for us to cook. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a reason to stop off in Placitas. Sunset was absolutely stunning, and Romeo the rooster provided the perfect wake up for us to get moving in our morning. Wish we could have stayed longer, but it just gives us an excuse to go back again!

We were behind schedule and needed a possible crash spot late eve. They were totally responsive to having us. We ended up staying in Bernalillo due to more car issues. They were kind and welcoming.

We arrived after dark due to short fall days and luckily we had the dog sitter arrive at the same time so that we were able to find the right location and then had a good spot to park our van. We did see wild horses on our morning walk even with dogs barking

Juliet's camping area is fairly primitive but very very relaxing and peaceful. I especially enjoyed my sunrise yoga and meditation in communion with the NM mountains. It was comforting to hear the birds singing in the morning. Juliet is a super cool host.

My friend and I had an incredible stay at Juliet’s home and farm!! Juliet is such a sweetheart, so welcoming and accommodating. I couldn’t recommend the stay enough! We got to spend time with her sweet horse Mo, as well as her chickens, 3 dogs, and cat. There was even a wild horse that passed through the property. The campsite was a great spot in the shade, especially with the heat of New Mexico in July, she also has a cute table set up for use. Once again highly recommend passing through the farm, the views are incredible and Juliet is a wonderful generous soul :)

Juliet is an absolutely lovely soul with an amazing home/property. It was so rad to have wild horses roaming around as well as her horses. The area is gorgeous especially with the small rain shower clouds I had. Couldn’t recommend this little spot enough!

Overall, the property felt very safe and the sunset was wonderful (both things I enjoyed and look for at camp), but a little extra cleanup would have gone a long way. As I was in a camper in the bed of my pickup, I was able to park in the open area near a shed, but I did explore the other 'sites' for tents and the amount of horse poop would have impacted my stay. The outdoor porta-potty type bathroom also didn't have a lock (or was malfunctioning) so the door was open and a later of dirt was covering all surfaces. As a pass-through spot, it was an easy nights sleep and the property itself is nice, and the horses were beautiful.

Juliet was very welcoming and easy going. The site is lovely, in Placitas, which is in foothills near Cibola Forest, and near a creek. Nice trail that goes along the creek. She has lots of animals - horse, dogs, chickens, cat, geese. The most special thing about the area and this site are the wild horses! I saw some on my drive in, and 2 of them come to her property regularly and did while I was there. Amazing! Overall I had a great stay at Juliets. 2 things to note: she has 2 Akitas which are not friendly to other dogs especially little ones. I had my little terrier with me, so this made me nervous. But they are in their own area behind a gate the majority of the time, just make sure they are behind gate when you let your little dog out. After they were behind gate, my dog roamed free and even hung out with the wild horses! The second thing is, there is a toilet, but it is on neighbors property and you have to climb through a fence to get there. I did it, but dont think this would be easy for everyone, and I wouldnt want to do this at night. Shes plans to work on an easier solution.
