Past trip
in Camp Peak + Pine -- A Lakeside Nook, West VirginiaGreat space close to activities!
This stay was incredible!
Elle goes above and beyond keeping the site perfect, as well as providing amenities beyond what I've usually found at hip camps. She gave us some great recommendations about the area too!
20 minutes to New River Gorge NP bridge entrance and rafting. Multiple state parks less than five min away the feature some great rock climbing, swimming, and cliff jumping.
If you're concerned about being close to the building or other property, don't be. Your space is very secluded and tucked away down a hill. Our only visitor was the local neighborhood cat, and he was great company.
Driveway is a little steep, but I have a little Honda Civic that is plenty low to the ground and had no issues. Will absolutely be back.

Past trip
in Arcadia Sanctuary, VirginiaStaying on Fran's land was wonderful! The amenities were beyond what I had expected, and Fran was super kind checking me in. The property is expansive and goes pretty high up into the hills if you feel like exploring! There's also all kinds of critters roaming around, I got to meet Fran's two dogs and three of the cats (there were more I didn't see)
I was able to get to the lower sites no problem in my little Honda Civic.
Will absolutely plan to stay again with a couple folks at the lower sites.
Past trip
in Monarch Meadows, New YorkI loved the space provided!
The back road to get there can be a little rough if you've got a lower car, but once you get into the area it really is such a wonderful secluded space.
Wood was provided, and everything was so clean and tidy!
Would absolutely recommend and stay again!
Michael hasn't gone on any trips yet.
Hipcamp Hosts can leave an optional review of their Hipcampers after the trip is completed. This is where those reviews from Hipcamp Hosts will appear.

#3 Old Bridge Abutment Creekside
in Farm on the Creek, PennsylvaniaExactly what I expect from a Hipcamp.
Tucked away on land right by a creek just off 80.
Spot was perfect for my break through PA.
Campsite 5
in Camping at Heritage Farms, OhioPeace close to park
Beautiful views tucked away on the tree farm. Quiet and convenient, had a great stay with the dog. Hosts were super kind and even helped out when my lighter ran out of fuel. Carts were sipper convenient for lugging gear back to the deeper spots on the land. Would happily stay again.

in Savage Acres on Craig Creek, VirginiaSite 2 The Swing Site
in Dreamland, New YorkPleasant single night stay
Had a great time Tent camping in the space.
Being up on the high Ridge was very scenic, and the swing just down the hill was awesome to Lay on and read for a bit.
The hike down to the water was scenic and STEEP!
Greg was very kind when I met him!
Property is a little close to the road so you might hear traffic as well as a train rumbling through, but still feels like you're far enough off the beaten path.
Wish I could've stayed longer?
Creekside Woods
in Savage Acres on Craig Creek, VirginiaTent camping by the creek was sublime. Getting down to the campsite was not as difficult as I first anticipated and the site itself is beautiful. The property is nestled in a nice valley so it does get cold at night. I had great access to the triple crown hike which was my intention, and it got to spend a nice day in Roanoke as well. Would absolutely stay again
