Past trip
in Old Camp At Bear Hollow, IndianaWe enjoyed our stay at Tracy's. It was nice having power on a really hot weekend. The fire pit was very nice and we made some really nice ribeyes over the fire. The ticks were pretty aggressive, so bring your spray!

Past trip
in Shasta Valley, KentuckyWe enjoyed our stay at Shasta Valley! The campsite was well taken care of and had one of the best outhouses I've been in. The trail was a wonderful bonus for the trip. The location is was 10-25 minutes from just about everything we wanted to do. It was a little over 20 minutes to Natural Bridge. The only downside was the road noise. We tent camped so we were a little more sensitive to it. It's not a deal breaker, but it was enough to wake us. We would definitely stay again!
Past trip
in Hill Springs Campground, IndianaWe loved the property. It was convenient to so much, but far enough away to feel completely disconnected. The wooded lot didn't have a level surface for our tent and the bugs were pretty intense. Overall though we would definitely come back!
Past trip
in RoNilaVon Farm, IndianaThis is a great place to stay. Ron is very welcoming and friendly! He greeted us, gave us some tips about the property, and made sure we had everything we needed. We loved walking around on the trails as well as just sitting by the lake. We would definitely stay again.

This was my second stay at WTW. I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else. Jon is a wonderful host. Firewood (and "starter kit"), water, and some basic seating are nice touches that Jon provides. The sites are VERY well maintained. The location is convenient to the wine trail, Shawnee Forest, and Murphysboro where there are a couple restaurants and a brewery. I've not stayed anywhere else in the area, but I can't imagine a better place.
Past trip
Front Site
in Hoosier's on the Ridge, IndianaThis is a great little place to stay in Brown County! Yellow Wood Forest, Downtown Nashville, and Brown County State Park are all within a 10ish minute drive from the property. Riley was very attentive to any needs and even helped out when our van got stuck. The sites are spaced apart well. We stayed late spring so the foliage wasn't completely out yet. I would imagine that the sites are even more secluded when the leaves are full.

Jon is super friendly and a great host. The site was well kept, but was not super private if there are guests at the grain bin. I don't think we were at the site we reserved, but when I went back to look I couldnt find any mention of what site I chose when I made the reservation. So it could have been my fault. The campsites are centrally located to some of the areas sites. It was also nice to come back to find firewood delivered to the site. We would definitely stay here again.
Kyle hasn't gone on any trips yet.

Drive in #2
in Away In The Woods, IllinoisRobert has a great place to camp! We stayed at one of the drive in sites. It wasn't quite a secluded as we had hoped, (close to the road and houses in view) but it worked out wonderfully. The back sites are awesome. If you're looking for a place to feel far away from the world Roberts place is it. We stayed in a campervan, but talked about coming back and staying at one of the walk in sites. The primitive bathroom room, trail markers, pond, river, firewood delivery are all things that make Roberts place stand out. He was a super friendly guy, but respected privacy. Stopped by once while we were sitting outside and checked if we needed anything.
