Such a beautiful, relaxing spot and to top it off Steve is a true gem. Camped out under two ancient black oaks, you can stargaze, listen to the creek flow just below you, and enjoy Steve's beautiful garden that's buzzing with life.. you may even get to snack on some of the plums too! As a solo female camper I felt extremely safe which isn't always the case, so I really appreciated how kind and welcoming he was. I camped here both on my way up to and back from a road trip because I loved the spot so much. I recommend hopping around on the rocks in the creek at sunset and watching the bats come out for their nightly activities. And enjoying a swim during the daytime is a must. Thank you so much Steve! đ¤

in Redwood Forest Raven Haven, CaliforniaThe Raven Haven was very nice and I enjoyed how quiet the stay was. The drive in was foggy and beautiful. I got in a little late and Jackie made sure to greet me and make sure I had everything that I needed. The one thing that I wish I had known before booking is that there are bears that visit the property. That being said, Jackie made sure to let me know right away and lent me some bear spray for the night just in case. Luckily I had no visitors in the night, only some extremely adorable little foxes in the morning who kept their distance but were too cute to handle!!
