in Cuyama Badlands, CaliforniaCamping at Songdog feels so SPACIOUS. The land is really well taken care of and the site has all the simple things you need. Super recommend requesting a cowboy tub, that was the best treat for a sunny afternoon. And amazing hosts! We loved chatting with Jen, she is so warm and helpful.

in The Meadow Grove of Hands Full Farm, CaliforniaI only stayed one night on Annaâs land as I was passing through the area, and it was just what I needed! It was just me and the cows (amongst gorgeous green hills and welcoming trees). Such a perfect setup for car camping - Iâm sure a tent wouldâve been lovely too. So look forward to returning, thank you for sharing this slice of specialness

in Russtic Roadside Retreat (R3), CaliforniaR3 is the best little space! (Itâs actually quite spacious). Arriving the other night was such a delight, fairy lights lead you up to the warmly lit camping platform. And the morning sunshine in the yard, mmmm! Such a treat to be in nature with the added touches of a bathroom and kitchen and a very appreciated space heater. Itâs the perfect base camp for exploring Nevada City/ gold country. Russ is so accommodating and kind, and gives great tips for the surrounding area! So excited to return. Thank you again, Russ!!!
