I had a wonderful time at Cypress Camp! Patrick the host was very friendly and stopped by just to say hello. It's very difficult to find a campsite like this that has access to a water supply, with a clean porta portty and is also very private. Nothing worse than driving hours away to escape the city noise and chaos only to end up camping next to other noisy campers, but here you have the entire campsite all to yourself. Looking forward to coming back here again next time I'm headed to the coast!

Patrick and Shawna were great hosts, and the campsite was as described and well-maintained. We were unlucky to have arrived on a June day when there were 40mph wind gusts and the temperature was frigid. I wouldn’t recommend it for windy days, though the trees on the windward side of the site did help a bit to shield us.

This site was very difficult to find, especially in the dark! Better signage is definitely needed. I would not want to take anything larger than a small camper van to this site.
Once we negotiated the tricky and bumpy track and found the space it was very peaceful and had great views. There is a water tap and portable barbecue. We felt the cost was high for what facilities it had.

Perfect site. Simple picnic table, flat ground, trees. Nice cool fog in the mornings. Quiet. Host checked on me once and we had a great chat. Can’t wait to go back.

We had a wonderful stay at Patrick and Shauna's Cypress Camp. The site is private, easy to find and has beautiful views of the coastal hills. Patrick and Shauna were excellent hosts. Would definitely recommend this campsite!

Easy to get to and lovely view from the campsite! We appreciate how quiet it is from the roads and we're able to disconnect from the world. Patrick is friendly and glad we were able to chat with him a bit on our way out. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Beautiful private space, looking out over valley and mountains. Just minutes off Hwy 1. Flat, cleared space with porta potty, water faucet with a hose, 2 Adirondack chairs and a cool picnic table that Patrick, the host, built.

It was easy to make this reservation for a holiday weekend. The campsite was large, flat, grassy, private and with beautiful vista of the ravine. Patrick was so friendly and made excellent recommendations for nearby places to explore or eat at. Best of all was Lily, the campsite cat, who was the perfect little ambassador. We are definitely returning.

Excellent time staying at Patrick and Shauna‘s place. We really enjoyed ourselves and it was a pleasure meeting Patrick. Just be cautious about using Google maps to get there, sent us on a wild goose chase. Finally got it figured out.

Great spot! Tent camped a couple nights here. Cozy, private, easy access to the ocean and point arena. Host was super friendly and helpful, pointing us towards some hikes and walks nearby. Would definitely stay again!
