(Dispersed site)
Camping on someoneâs land. We had low expectations because we just needed a place to pitch our tents. Owl Hollow worked great. We used the fire pit, sat in the bench, and relaxed a bit before heading to bed. The closest we got to seeing any wildlife was hearing the coyotes howl at night a few miles away (I assume). Mary Lou was very kind and had a kurig outside so that we could make some coffee.

It was a little hard to find, but we also came in at 10pm with little light to help us. Would be easy to find during the day. The camp site is just someoneâs land. We needed somewhere to pitch a tent and this worked just fine. They have a âshowerâ, which is just a hose and shower head inside a portable cover connected to an RV (think privacy room for a poop bucket). I used it and I felt cleaner, so it did itâs job. There were clean towels to use. I have no real complaints except that I was woken up at around 4 by some serious sniffing about 5 feet from my tent followed by whatever that was running away. There was a fire pit that we didnât use because we rolled in late. But again, this place was fine for what we needed. If youâre looking for somewhere to pitch a tent and have some privacy this is a good spot. The host was very friendly and helped us find our spot.
