I 💕 ked very much the seclusion of it, but that it's also very accessible to the commodity of shops and the city life. My pups loved the yard.

It's a really nice little spot and a nice getaway from the city. It's not secluded in the woods but next to some homes, but it's neat regardless. Inside was well stocked and had everything we needed. It's real close to Bastrop and we found some really cool places to eat/drink/shop.

Fantastic container home with private outdoor space. The host, Matt, was super friendly and accommodating. Easy parking and access. I would recommend this spot and absolutely would stay again!

Bamboo Hideaway Campsite
I loved the place. We had a lot of space for ourselves. I would only suggest Matt to have one or two showers installed, and it will be perfect. Looking forward to come back.

My first glamping out of a storage container! Very quiet setting, far away enough from main home for privacy. Outdoor setting is an extension of the tiny home with a propane grill available. Lawn area with seating in a nice shaded area. Inside is very modern with a comfy queen size bed, sitting area, kitchen with mini fridge, microwave and so many other gadgets, bathroom with walk in shower. This place was clean, cool, easy access from highway. I'll definitely be back!

Bamboo Hideaway Campsite
If you want a respite just far enough away from the city, this is a great stay. If compost toilets aren't your thing, there's a buckee's not far. Bring drinking water! They've got tents set up, a campsite, and even with the steady sound of the hwy you feel just close enough to nature to get some good bird listening in. I'm excited to see how it develops. Would definitely stay again.

Adorable place! Peaceful yet still close to Austin! Owners are super nice and welcoming! Very clean and had everything we needed We really enjoyed our stay!

Very well built and everything was operating like new! I really enjoyed the outdoor space and outdoor furniture for lounging outdoors. Also, the hosts were very reposive and accommodating.

Chose this place over a downtown hotel for the privacy and quiet, and got both. Drive downtown during weekday was a breeze. Clean, orderly, and great communication with hosts.

We had a fantastic stay! Although it was too short, the container was cozy, clean, and cool in this Texas heat. I’d definitely stay here again. Very close to Bastrop and the Colorado River!

The container was absolutely gorgeous! Loved the bed, the appliances, and the shower. You will need to bring your own towels, soaps, and bath rags though. It’s also nice to be able to park right next to where you’re staying so you know your vehicle is safe. The little walking trail was cool. The morning yoga class was great- make sure to coordinate ahead of time as to where the class will take place.

We had a great stay! The hosts were available but we definitely had privacy. Making s'mores on the chiminea was tops and my son had an awesome time using the outdoor shower.

My brother and I stayed here over a weekend and the campsite was great! The service was very hospitable, and I definitely felt taken care of, which added to the small town, country feel of the area. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone looking to get out of the city for a time!

Matt was the most caring host I’ve ever had! Our dog got loose and Matt was kind enough to help us look for her. He was a super kind and caring host, and we can’t wait to come back!

Bamboo II is a comfortable, clean and extraordinary lodging option. Nature lovers will enjoy the proximity to outstanding parks. And downtown Bastrop, with its charm and delicious dining options, is just a short drive away. Carrie & Matt are thoughtful and friendly hosts who made us feel very welcome. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway, this place is an excellent choice.

It was such a cute space! Perfect for a little getaway. Loved the patio and loved the way the container was put together. Wish there a little more private separation between the owners and the space but did not mind it very much. So fun!

This little place was adorable and clean and just all around great. It was out of the way enough to feel like a real break from the city, but also close enough to town that running out to pick up dinner was easy. I definitely recommend this place.

Really nice shaded area in the back. I would love to come back and camp again soon! There’s Ms. Pearl the Giant Squirrel Statue a couple miles down the road!
