Great spot with beautiful surroundings. Far enough out to get the peace and quiet desired for camping, but close enough to distilleries to have a little fun.

Eli H.has mixed feelings towards this listing.
Very scenic location with a ton of waste/litter. I stongly believe most of the trash comes from locals stopping at an easily accessible place, especially the site closest to the road (a car pulled over and hung out for a while during the night before starting up and pulling out). That site is completely trashed. Closer to ours, there was less trash, but still a lot, and it is obvious that the trash had been there for some time. Regardless, you would think that the owner would clean it up every once and a while. On another note, there was a lot of firewood chopped and piled up, which was real convenient. Lastly, the "Smile. Youre on camera" sign is a bit creepy, considering everything one does while living outdoors for a day or two.

We arrived a bit later than anticipated, but we sent a note ahead of time. Orv was still around to give us a quick tour before he let us get settled in. Everything you needed was in the general vicinity and the area was well kept. The location was ideal, as it was about 15 minutes off of our travel route. Before we set off the next day, we were given a tour of the mushroom farm, which was very interesting.

Past trip
in J. Strom Thurmond Dam and Lake Park, South CarolinaEli H.recommends this listing.
Easy to get to and the site was very clean. Surprisingly, there were no mosquitoes; maybe they spray. Tons of flies though! Overall very peaceful. Being able to walk to the bath house was a plus, because the temps were outrageously high! Everything you need is right here!
Eli hasn't gone on any trips yet.

Site 4 - Kings River Falls Camping
in Red Fern, ArkansasCool location! Plenty of trails to hike and very scenic. We went in the spring and had a blast but would love to go back in warmer weather months to swim.
Walnut Bottom
in Savage Acres on Craig Creek, VirginiaNear perfect site
Everything about the site was near perfect. The views, the stream, the fire pit, and there was even a table. There was another group camped out across the field, but you could barely hear them. I would definitely stay again.
