Pike River Camping
in Pike River Camping, MinnesotaCouldn’t stay there.
Unfortunately we didn’t get to stay there. The host kindly mowed the weeds to define a parking spot and we’re communicative. The parking area could fit one car but we didn’t have a car, we have a truck. The campsite could maybe fit a two person tent, although not level. We didn’t have a two person tent, it fits 4. It was also on the across from a wet area so the bugs were bad. We paid for a site we couldn’t use, luckily we found a free dispersed site. I hope the site owner will make a more accurate description of the the site is.
Superior Beach Camp
in Superior Beach Camp, WisconsinCamping at superior was super
Lake Superior steals the show at this site! I loved that we had tent site options, stay in the grass near our vehicle or go out on the mowed path and site over looking the lake. The area was freshly mowed, which helped keep the bugs down and the tent site and beach paths were nicely labeled. As the description says, the site and beach path have clay so it can be muddy and slick in some areas but the nice site directions and the pallets covering the worst parts of the beach trail helped mitigate that. It was a wonderful and well manicured site at Superior!
North Ridge Pines (The River Farm)
in Daniel's Cabin Retreat, MinnesotaThe property is beautiful, we liked the secluded campsite, and Dan was a gracious host as we arrived late but he still escorted us to our site, gave us firewood and made sure we had everything we needed. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the property and little lake!
