Past trip
in The Kilns @ The Red River Gorge, KentuckyThe Kilns is a beautiful piece of land just ten minutes from the Red River Gorge, which was an amazing arrangement for us hikers. Kimberly was so welcoming and kind. On arrival, she gave us a whole guide packet for our stay, including a map, a list of nearby recommended restaurants, recommended hikes, and even a sticker for our water bottles. A thunderstorm hit on our second night and Kim generously let us move our tent under an awning on their property. With plenty of firewood available and a clean port-a-potty, weâd definitely stay again. Regarding the frogs: yes, they are very loud! You will not be able to ignore them, but we considered them a feature of the land and Kim warned us ahead of time that theyâd be making noise. We brought ear plugs and had no trouble getting to sleep (bring them if you stay here).

Past trip
in Geode Nature Domes, OhioOur stay here was incredible. Marci was welcoming and generous and the dome itself was so much fun to stay in. She lives on the property within view of the dome and is just a short walk down to the bottom of the hill (where the restroom and shower is, too). There are neighbors just on the other side of the dome, too, but wooden fence dividers retained our privacy. Everything was so clean. We even got to use the larger dome, meant for yoga retreats and group classes, as our own private yoga studio for a day. This is a beautiful place to stay and weâd love to come back!

Our Lil' Ranch
in Our Lil' Ranch, MichiganA calm, kind, lovely camp spot
This was such a lovely stay! The cabin is really great, well insulated and pretty big proof too! Jackie was accommodating and pleasant and so kind. We loved seeing Cashew the dog and watching the moon rise over the trees. What an amazing stay. Would definitely come back!!!

Bear was the perfect host! He met us as soon as we arrived, gave us a short tour and walk through of the property, and made sure we had anything we needed for our stay. He is friendly and accessible! The site was beautiful, very secluded (not near most of the other sites on his property) with our own fire pit and a porto potty close by.

Jed is a great host! Our site was private and welcoming. Perfectly secluded with easy access to Acadia National Park. The big field outside the woods also makes for fantastic stargazing at night.
Alex hasn't gone on any trips yet.

Erika and Mark (farm owners) were incredibly gracious and welcoming. We actually camped in their barn because the weather was poor, which was a really cool place to be with a big group of campers. This is such a gem, I'm really happy we found this spot. It completely exceeded our expectations. You must stay here!!!
