Both my husband and I really enjoyed our weekend in the hill country, especially here at Seco Ridge! Woody was kind, responsive, and his directions were very clear. The campground itself is spacious, clean, and very quiet which was a plus! Bathrooms and showers were available as well. Each site is numbered and has its own unique characteristics; we reserved site 6 which had the BEST sunrise view. We came on a holiday so we were surprised to find that we were the only ones on the campground. Needless to say, we will definitely be back again and hope to enjoy the band/brewery on the campground next time!

What a wonderful experience! The baunkhouse was so comfortable and more roomy than expected. The brewery had great beers on tap and the owners are such lovely people. We will definitely be back

Seco Ridge is a great place to stay for a nice hill country get away. The location is private, quiet, and well maintained. AND it’s pet friendly! Woody is a great host and a great singer as well! We’ll definitely be back!

Site 1 - Secluded Tent Camping
This campsite was BEYOND amazing !!!!! This place had an awesome section to spend time with the other campers AND had live music Saturday night !! Bathroom’s and showers were clean and updated !! Very much recommend staying here. Stayed in campsite 1 and was very secluded if you’re looking for something more to yourself and/or your family. Will definitely be back !! Thank you for an incredible experience Woody !!!

Everything about this site is absolutely beautiful. It was just the right size for a perfect getaway to relax and spend some time outdoors. The host were very friendly, including the dog and cat that hang out around the kitchen/bathrooms. This little hideaway had some small trails to explore, while the host had several unique art installations around the property as well. Can’t wait to plan another trip out there soon!!

Fantastic spot to set up camp at a central location in the hill country. This campsite is secluded as described. Lots of shade in the trees if you desire. Only a couple minute walk to the clean bathrooms and showers. A short stroll the other direction and you will see a clearing with epic hill country sunset views. We’re definitely coming back some day.

Even though there was a huge storm Friday night, we still had a great time! We stayed at site 7 and the quiet and seclusion was nice! It also helped the site is on higher ground so we didn’t get flooded. We did a short hike while it was dry and saw a lot of cool things around! Our dogs had a fun time and loved exploring. We definitely plan on going back in the future! Thank you for having us :)

Woody’s land was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and completely at ease. The property is spacious, peaceful, and beautifully maintained perfect for a relaxing getaway with friends. We especially loved how private and quiet it felt, surrounded by nature but still easy to access.
The campsite had everything we needed and more. The views were stunning, and the stars at night were magical. Woody was a fantastic host friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
We made some unforgettable memories here, from campfire chats to exploring the area, and we’re already talking about coming back. If you’re looking for a place to disconnect and recharge with good company, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

We had a great weekend and look forward to another trip in the future. There was lots of room to explore and beautiful views, and don’t forget about the beer! Honestly, better than most full commercial breweries, i had the dark cherry wheat and it was well balanced and delicious. Woody takes pride in his beer and you can taste it.

Woody is an awesome hosts. Responds quickly and answered all my questions. Highly recommend to stay here - site 8 was sufficient for 3 cars and 9 of my friends. The community area is well designed and maintained as well!

The BunkHaus
The Bunkhouse was fantastic! What a relaxing getaway. Conveniently located near Garner State Park. Facilities were clean and well-tended. My daughters (8 & 11) had a great time exploring the campground and reading in the hammocks. The outdoor kitchen was perfect for our daily meal prep. I got to sample a delicious Witbier brewed on-site by the owner - thanks Woody! We will be back!

The privacy of the campsite was great and the short drive to Lost Maples was even better!
Just a fair warning to other campers: we were lucky enough to have a good 4-wheel drive SUV, because the trail to site 7 is extremely bumpy and rutty. That particular site is not recommended for smaller vehicles.
Overall, though, I can't recommend Seco Ridge enough!

We love camping at Seco Ridge. This was our second time there and Woody is a great host, responds and is there to answer any questions. The common shared area is nice for showering and bathrooms, but you also have your secluded space. I would definitely recommend!

My family and I absolutely loved our camp site! There was a nice hike to some amazing views. We were able to watch the sunset over the hills and it was absolutely gorgeous! The bathrooms/shower were super cute and clean, and the common areas were adorable and very honey. My children really enjoyed the hammocks and swing. Our campsite even had some cute solar lights that came on at night. It was definitely a great experience! I would highly recommend!

The Bunkhaus and property exceeded our expectations! Loved having all the creature comforts of the bunkhaus (comfy beds, AC/heat, electricity, mini fridge and coffee maker) while nestled in the tranquil outdoorsy campsite. Home brewery is open on the weekends by the owner right next door- delish drinks and wonderful company (but closes by 6pm so noise is never an issue). We scoped out the other tent campsites on property and they look great too, esp with the common area amenities (outdoor kitchen, shady picnic tables, and very clean bathroom/shower!). We can’t wait to return with a larger group of friends and family! Very kid friendly as well- we had two toddlers in tow with us and they had a blast.

If you’re looking for a peaceful, family-friendly camping experience in the Texas Hill Country, this spot is a true gem. The campgrounds are private and well-maintained, offering a perfect balance of nature and comfort.
The clean bathrooms with hot water and the thoughtfully designed Shower Haus made the stay so much more enjoyable, especially after a day of exploring. The well water was crisp and refreshing, perfect after outdoor adventures.
One of the highlights was the Saturday night “Get Down”—a lively yet laid-back bonfire gathering with live music and friendly locals. It added a special touch to the weekend, creating memories I’ll cherish.
The campsite itself was wonderfully secluded, and everyone respected the 11 PM - 7 AM quiet hours, ensuring peaceful nights under the stars. Speaking of the stars—the nightly views were absolutely stunning, with a sky so clear it felt like you could touch the Milky Way.
Woody, the owner, was another reason this place stands out. His warmth, humor, and hospitality made me feel right at home. The campground is also incredibly dog-friendly, perfect for pet owners.
I stayed at Tent Campsite #1, which offered privacy and a tranquil setting to relax and enjoy nature. Plus, its proximity to Garner State Park and Lost Maples State Natural Area makes it an ideal base for exploring the area.
Whether you’re into primitive camping, glamping, or just a quiet getaway, this place offers something for everyone. Highly recommend!

What an amazing experience we had a Seco Ridge Campgrounds. Went for the weekend before Christmas as a quick getaway. The camp site was clean, had steaming hot showers, firewood, great views and friendly people! A nice bonus was Saturday & Sunday the brewery on site was open and we got to try a great selections of hand crafted brews. The campground was super close to Lost Maples. The town is small but local store had fresh meat and there was a nice taco spot as well. Highly recommend, just book it you will have an amazing experience!!! Hope to be back soon!

It really wasn’t for us. We felt we didn’t have a lot to explore on this site. We felt boxed in by the fence boundaries. It wasn’t a horrible experience. It just wasn’t what we were looking for.
