If you are looking for a unique experience and appreciate history, architecture, and exquisite design, you just found your spot.
First of all, the location. The cabin is located on a rural road that is a five minute drive to downtown Onancock, which offers a coffee shop, several restaurants, bakery, shops, Saturday farmers’ market, and the harbor. Chincoteague and the famous ponies are 35 minutes north, and bougie Cape Charles is 40 minutes south.
When you open the door to this 300’ gem, you will step back in time to a simpler way of life. This century-old building was moved to the site and has been brought back to life, preserving the original character, while adding the creature comforts we love of today. Soaring 12 foot ceilings provide a spacious air, and the original wood interior offer charm and patina that simply cannot be manufactured. In the past, it was a barber shop and then a poker joint.
This place is a design nerd’s dream, a clever combination of old, new, and vintage pieces, handmade pottery and art, with close attention paid to each chosen piece.
Lace curtains and blackout blinds cover all your light preferences for peaceful sleeping. The queen bed is a high end hybrid mattress with traditional coil base and memory foam top. A giant 55” TV is directly across from the bed for cozy streaming.
The modern bathroom has a vintage wall sink found on site, and terrific water pressure from a rain shower head with instant, never ending Rinnai hot water.
The kitchen has an ample antique sideboard as your sink, apartment size refrigerator, induction hot plate, coffee, microwave, and combo convection toaster oven/air fryer. The marble table seats two. A comfortable down-filled loveseat adds another lounge option. You will enjoy all the artistic touches around the room.
Did I mention the front porch??? It’s the perfect spot for morning coffee, afternoon wine, and evening stargazing from rocking chairs with your boo. A pretty view of a wide field is across the street and will sooth your weary soul. What’s not to love about that?

The Guinea farm is 18 acres of field and forest on the rural middle peninsula. Only 1 mile from 2 separate secluded dog friendly beaches and a boat launch. There is very little traffic or light pollution here, nature is at your fingertips.
Come visit the farm and experience agritourism at it's finest. Pick your own veggies in the community garden and meet the Guinea fowl! Enjoy the wilderness and learn about the local ecosystem here on the middle peninsula.
There are 3 sites spaced out across the 18 acres set apart for privacy. Wisteria Treehouse site closer to the entrance gate. Trilogy Micro Cabinz is in the pines 700' beyond that and separated by dense forest. Stargazer Tiny cabin is an off grid rustic camping cabin on the back side of the property.
Each site is surrounded by several acres of forest and close to the edge of a large field. There are roaming guinea fowl that may come make a very loud appearance as they canvas the property eating bugs. Deer, Turkeys, Bald Eagles, foxes, and other wildlife are common guests also. Mid-summer is what I call frog season, Tree frogs are abundant and provide a wonderful soundtrack.
There are free to use bicycles, an axe throwing board, and cornhole boards available.
4 miles from shopping and dining in Mathews Virginia, 15 miles to Gwynn Island. Gwynn's Island is an island located in the Chesapeake Bay off of Virginia's Middle Peninsula. The island is located in the northeast part of Mathews County, south of the mouth of the Piankatank River. It is connected to the rest of the county by a swing bridge over Milford Haven.

HORSES WELCOME! Why not run your horse on the beach, then come to our campsites to relax for the rest of your day. There is a fenced pasture positioned next to the sites so you can see your faithful friend enjoying some grass or hay. We have a new Zinger 29' trailer set up with a bunk room and another bedroom, full kitchen and bathroom. It can easily sleep six people. If you have your own RV, we have a full hook up at the same area. The pasture where your horse stays will also have hay, water and shelter with a run-in. This is a sanctuary for our animals. We have nine animals here, four horses (some minnies) and five donkeys (some minnies). By staying here, you will be helping us to support our animals. We are in Frankford, De which is close to all the beaches and parks. There are many shopping adventures awaiting you, either outlets or upcycle stores. If you just want to relax, there is a small pond out back stocked with bass and turtles. We have 17+ acres but we only use the front five acres and leave the rest for the deer, foxes, eagles, hawks and whatever else shows up. We believe this is Heaven on earth and would love to share it will you. So please come, stay at our farm and relax. We are here year round.

all within an hour.
We’ve intentionally created an off-grid, calming nature experience. You’ll be surrounded by forest, open farmland and abundant wildlife. Native gardens, fruit trees, nut trees and herbs were planted near the tent areas in September 2024, offering beauty and a deeper connection to the land.
Enjoy thoughtfully placed gathering spaces throughout the forest, including a whimsical Forest Tea Party area and Uncontained, our cozy repurposed shipping container—perfect for reading, board games, or shelter during a summer pop-up thunderstorm. A nature -made hammock area amongst tall pine trees is perfect for afternoon naps and are provided by us (7) Fire-pit seating, picnic tables, a charcoal grill, and a propane cooktop are also available.
Walk the short Jeremiah Dixon/Charles Mason Trail, a path similar to one they would have taken in the 1700s. Follow it through the forest and across the creek to our homestead, where you can place one foot in Maryland and one in Delaware at the historic Mason–Dixon marker beneath an old wild cherry tree.
Before heading back, stop at the main farm gate to visit our friendly goats—Dixie, Dolly, and Star.
Come rest, wander, and reconnect—for this calming experience is where time slows and nature leads.

My husband and I with our 3 children had so much fun staying in a mini cabin at Strawberry Crossroads. They have some goats that would visit us in the morning, which was so fun. Grateful for the cleanliness of the bathrooms/showers. Having mattresses already on the beds was also very helpful. Felt very comfortable and safe there. Great place to camp!

This was the perfect little get away! The house had all the necessities while still feeling like you are on a camping trip. Ian was extremely nice and helpful, and even let us meet his birds! The house is not far from two different beaches and there is a very nice lake to hike and fish at only 30 minutes away.

Weekend Trip to Gee Haven
The Site was very well kept! The bathroom was actually very well kept and better than I expected. The cabin was cozy and comfortable. The owner turned the heater on, built us a fire before arrival, and ensured we would have everything and anything we needed during our stay. Overall, it was a wonderful stay! I would definitely come back and recommend this to our friends and family!!!!

Ian messaged and said we could arrive early and we felt very at home. We got to see the Guinea Fowl, Turkeys, Chickens and the baby chicks! The kids loved being able to roam and explore.
The solar power Ian has set up made it easy to charge items and have lights for night time visibility. He truly has poured his heart and soul into building a one of a kind camping experience.
We will return for sure!

Weekend Trip to Blanchard Farm
Our stay at Blanchard Farm was incredible. The yurt was well-kept, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up. The campsite felt very private, making it perfect for a nice weekend escape. The shooting range was a huge highlight—extremely well done and a really unique feature you don’t find just anywhere. If you’re looking for a peaceful stay with something extra, this is the place!

I took my two boys to this gorgeous piece of Heaven. Wisteria blooming everywhere, accommodations were so dreamy! Ian the host is so friendly & took the time to educate my boys on his farm. They held chicks that had just hatched. Beach nearby. Couldn’t have asked for a more gorgeous camping getaway. We will definitely be back! Stayed in the tree house. Dreamy for little boys.

We love Jellystone in Chincoteague! Last time we stayed in a Safari tent bug this time we rented a bungalow. We definitely would stay in a bungalow again, however we will be more prepared this time… no linens or pillows were provided. Thankfully there was a DG up the road and we grabbed what we needed! We’ll be back.

The Wisteria Treehouse is a magical place. Both adults and children loved it. Not only is it super cool to camp in a treehouse but it's also beautifully built too. The upper treehouse looks like a ships hold with portholes and everything
The site had everything we needed and the proximity to the beach was great. Ian was super helpful and brought us a propane tank when we ran out of gas for the camp stove. Thanks for the great stay!

Weekend Trip to The Guinea Farm, Field, and Forest
Such a unique and private treehouse adventure!
The main house and other 2 sites were almost completely hidden behind trees outlining a small open field that was perfect for stargazing.
I loved having the option of sleeping in the treehouse or on the cots in the tent that was securely anchored to the elevated wooden platform.
The porch area leading into the treehouse had 2 camp chairs, which created the perfect lookout to enjoy morning coffee and the gas cooktop/grill provided a convenient, covered area to cook breakfast.
Ian, the host, maintained excellent communication from booking to checkout and responded quickly when I had questions about the battery operated light switches and WiFi connection.
Having several beach options just a few minutes drive away was better than I hoped considering the ease of access and how few people were at the beaches. For a while I had Aaron’s Beach completely to myself!
Staying at the Wisteria Treehouse is now my favorite “glamping” get away and look forward to returning soon!

Ian’s Stargazer cabin lived true to its name! The fire of the night sky was so magical, and the inside of the cabin was so well-designed and cozy. It had everything we needed! We also loved meeting the many birds on the property and of course the sweet dogs Sam and Zoe!

Oh my gosh, this cabin is everything. From the front porch to the kitchen and every little detail made the cabin feel like home. Great location to everything that makes the eastern shore special and Mona was incredibly helpful sharing recommendations on places to eat and things to do! My dog, Lola, and I celebrated her birthday here and it was the perfect getaway to disconnect. A beautiful cabin and a great getaway!

The cabin itself was really cute and functional. We were there in February when it was cold and rainy and stayed warm and cozy. Being so close to beaches was amazing, beautiful places in every direction and the property itself was also really spacious and cool. Ian as a host was kind, communicative, and fun to interact with, he was ready to accommodate on site issues and also not be overbearing. Would highly recommend! And would love to go back in the warmer months. Thanks so much~~

Weekend Trip to Blackwater Tiny Cabin on Snakehead
What a lovely little weekend getaway. Just right for our Valentines Weekend 💝. Loved the extra touches like k cup coffee machine with cups and creamer shower shampoo and body wash, fresh towels and warm blankets. Glad there was a little fridge for dinner leftovers too. We enjoyed meeting the sheep too.

The best for canoing, families, crabbing, boating, beach that you canoe to. Nice and quiet. Flies, ticks, and mosquitoes can be unmerciful, so call ahead. Reservations fill up very quickly.
