Journey's End Farm is a small family farm offering a diverse selection of ecologically grown vegetables, maple syrup, and free-range eggs. Everything that we sell is grown or produced on-site with the intention of nurturing the soil and ecology of the land. From 1939-2020 our family ran a summer sleep-away camp for children on the farm, with an emphasis on caring for each other and the land. Located in a small valley at 1400 feet of elevation, our fields and woods are home to a broad diversity of native plants and animals. Our family has been caring for this land since 1926, but before European colonization it was home to the Lenape people from whom it was forcibly taken. Acknowledging this fact and working to expand awareness of Indigenous cultures and their rights is important to us. While at the farm, besides the amenities listed in each listing, you are welcome to hike or walk around and explore our farm which has many acres of woodland, creeks, springs, a pond, and open fields. A hot day is a great time for a walk along - or in - the creek. A rainy day brings out the Red Efts - beautiful orange newts that are all over the woods when you know where to look. We're always glad to point you in the right direction for a nice walk or a longer hike. You may be able to tag along collecting eggs from the hens or feeding some of the other animals we may have.

Cabin on the Little Creek
100% (46)
Cabin · Sleeps 6
Enjoy camping with a roof over your head, at the heart of our small family farm. Book your stay in a rustic wooden sleeping cabin nestled next to a small creek with views of vegetable gardens and the old cow barn. Simple and rustic, the cabin is appointed with a double bed (seasonal linens are available as an extra or bring your own bedding), two cot-sized bunk beds (bring your own bedding), and a cozy seating area. Just outside the cabin, you’ll find a fire circle, and a picnic table on a platform up off the ground. Cook your meals on a grill over the fire, or bring picnic fare. Wash up in an outdoor sink with running cold water. Pack your supplies as if you were going camping, but enjoy the comfort of a real bed. A private full bathroom with hot showers and electricity is located a short walk from your cabin. There are lights, but no electrical outlets, heat, or wifi in the cabin. Cell service is spotty on the farm. Pack and dress for adventure! We’ll send our comprehensive packing list to help you plan accordingly. During your stay, you’re welcome to explore over 100 acres of woods and pastures. Take a swim in the pond, or a leisurely stroll alongside the creek. Read a book in the shade, explore the vegetable gardens, or go bird watching… possibilities abound. A note about privacy: Our land is a small vegetable farm which may be bustling with activity or calm and quiet depending on when you visit. We offer two cabins for rent, both are located in the central hub of the farm. This makes each cabin very accessible; you can drive right up to your cabin door. But it also means that you may hear the occasional hum of farm implements or the voices of neighboring campers drifting across the field. We think our sites offer a nice balance of personal space with a taste of the bustle of a real working farm. We ask guests to be respectful of others whom they may meet. No parties or late night noise, please! We usually have pastured eggs, farm-made maple syrup, firewood, and seasonal vegetables available.

Visitors frequently highlight the beauty of the farm, the comfort of the cabins, and the delightful interactions with farm animals like goats and chickens. It's a family-friendly destination with plenty of opportunity for kids to explore and engage with nature.
