If I could give Broken Banjo more than 5 stars, I would! Our family of four stayed in the Treehouse Cabin and it exceeded our expectations. It was cozy, clean, well cared for, and tucked toward the back of the campground, which gave us a peaceful setting while still being an easy walk to everything. The staff truly made our stay special. Karen patiently answered all of our questions before arrival. Steve went above and beyond by safely opening the pool after local storms so our boys could swim. We ended up having the pool and slide to ourselves for about two amazing hours! He also delivered our firewood that first night. Jody in the camp store was incredibly sweet and welcoming. A HUGE shout-out to Eric! He was exceptional—kind, attentive, accommodating, and always making sure we had everything we needed. He kept the pool and activity areas clean and ready and always took time to check in with us. The pool was exceptionally clean every single time we went in! The wife and I enjoyed having coffee on the porch each morning. Our 12-year-old loved the playground and the pool - while making new friends, on the other hand our 17-year-old loved basketball and the pool as well. We also enjoyed putt-putt, the water slide, grilling, a campfire, morning walks, and sitting on the porch watching a rainstorm. My wife and I even went down the slide and felt like kids again! We always felt safe, welcomed, and cared for. We made amazing family memories and are already planning our return!

Really beautiful little campground. The swimming hole was lovely, the waterfall and fishing hole hikes were beautiful. The small cabin I stayed in was clean and cozy and in good working order. Staff was friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were clean but had a funky smell... I have a suspicion another camper was vaping in them while I was there. It should be noted that the interstate is not far away. Though not loud or obtrusive, you could hear the hum of traffic 24/7

Weekend Trip to Beech Hollow Hideout

It felt magical from the moment I turned in the driveway. I loved all the big rocks, the creek, the sculptures, and so much green everywhere… William and his animal friends were very welcoming and made it easy to find the hut on the hill. After the extremely challenging sweaty hike up (par for the course in a TN July!), I arrived at what felt like a fairytale cottage in the glen. It was beautiful! The perfect place to reset your nervous system and take several deep breaths… things I would recommend: pack light, take a good walking stick, guard yourself against chiggers if you plan to sit on the ground or venture into the wild areas in summer, and take a headlamp for seeing better inside the cabin and outside at night. I might suggest you take a solar shower bag. I didn’t have one, and it would’ve been wonderful to rinse off once or twice. There is a giant glass jug of drinking water there, so you don't need to carry the extra weight of water up the hill. Greet the trees when you get there; I’m pretty sure they appreciate it. And thank them when you leave. It’s a nice way to bookend your experience. William is a great steward of the land, and you will feel very safe and cozy there. Rest well!

The property is beautiful and comfortable. The loft has everything you need to have a great time away. Clean and air conditioned, we were so happy to spend the days in the outdoors but have the hideaway to come back to. We picked it because it is close to our favorite TN state park, Fall Creek Falls, which is only 15 minutes away. Krys was so lovely and welcoming! She had our son collect fresh eggs from her hens, which was an absolute highlight of his trip. My family loved staying here and we absolutely look forward to coming back!

The porch, bathroom, slabs around the firepit and cooking areas, bedding, managing of the grounds, the list goes on... It's a cool spot, and I enjoyed learning some of the background of the place from him.

This is a gem!!! This little apartment is exactly what we needed for a few days away. Krys has stocked it with everything you need to plus a few extras. The bed was comfy, the fridge and freezer was the perfect size. Loved the air fryer/ toaster oven. Coolest bathroom ever. We LOVED all the puppy and kitty cuddles. Krys was a joy to hang out with. I hope we get to come back through that way again soon. We highly recommend.

This was a great place to stay and Jodie is a very thoughtful, informative host. We had 4 families staying at the property and there was plenty of room for the kids to run around and the adults to relax. The glamping tents were great and had absolutely everything you could need to camp in comfort. Definitely would stay here again the next time we are in the area.

This was a lovely one room historic log cabin with an attached very nice bathroom. We had everything we needed for a one week stay. We brought our Insta pot to cook with, but he also supplied a very good set up with a gas or charcoal grill to cook on. It was a beautiful and great location. The host was exceptional, and we enjoyed visiting with him daily. We would definitely stay there again!
