The cabins, cottage, tent sites & trails are very private and secluded. Each site has its own private entrance. There is approximately 10 miles of professionally groomed, maintained trails for guests to share for recreational purposes. The trails are marked and 10-15' wide. They range in difficulty. The southern section of the property ascends abruptly from 2050'-2250'. The northern range is less abrupt.
It has been my passion & a genuine labor of love to keep this environment as pristine as possible. My ultimate goal is to be able to provide a place for man to be nurtured, where nature & wildlife will thrive, always striving to keep the environment as pristine & serene as possible. These are beautiful wooded camping country sites with plant and wild life located just 10 miles from downtown Corning, New York. There is one rustic cabin available for rent, along with a teepee site, and 2 tent sites. We are between the Finger Lakes and the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon, just 1 mile off highway 99/15. Sites are located less than a 400 yard hike from the parking area, each site having both a picnic table and fire ring. There is an outhouse located within 250 yards from all sites. There is river access one mile from camp. Campers that require help getting to a site, can be driven up the hill via side by side. Every site is connected to state land with over 2,700 acres worth of hiking trails. We have a number of mountain bikes, kayaks, canoes, snow shoes, tents, sleeping bags/mats, etc. available for rent on site. In addition, if guests are interested in classes on site, I am a wilderness and survival expert willing to offer assistance as a guide through the trails, on the river, with setting up camp, etc. Some of my survival classes include fire making, shelter building, edible food foraging, self defense training, and fishing and hunting.

The spot is complete tranquility. In a span of 3 days, I only had one passerby on an ATV, otherwise it is basically in the woods, and the nature is impressive all around you. There is no power and barely any cel coverage (almost none really) so be ready for that, but there was plenty of wood for the woodstove, and I was offered to stay an extra 12+ hours if I needed, which added to the "no stress" time I had. The hosts are quick to respond and let me be otherwise. I would stay again.

This is a magical little campground, perfect for a summer weekend getaway! We adored the fairy path and the covered area next to the barn was perfect to seek shelter from the sun or rain. The cabin is quaint, but comfortable and there are tons of ammenities not listed in the listing, which was very much appreciated.
The only thing we were surprised by is how loud the campground across the way is, they had a band playing from 7pm to 11pm Saturday night, which didn't necessarily bother us, but it was very loud so can imagine it's something people would want to know about before they stay. We actually walked down to watch for a while and our son used the bounce house they had set up, so turned into a good time, was just surprised how late it went!

I stayed two nights with my son and our dog. We had a very nice time. We bought plenty of supplies, but if we forgot something, place was very well stocked even with extra fishing poles. I enjoyed fishing in the little pond. caught about 20 Blue Gills and a few frogs. We ran the generator during the day and enjoyed the peace and quiet at night. There is no WiFi so download some games or movies on your phone, bring a book or whatever you choose to pass the time. We bought meat in a cooler and grilled on the fire pit. There is a Walmart not too far if you need somethings. The only down side which is no fault of the host is the ride up to the lodge from the main road which is rocky, with some dips. My car is low to the ground so I had to ride on it very carefully.

We stayed here with nine middle school boys. They LOVED the pond , boats, and surrounding swings and falls nearby. We had intermittent lighting for two nights due to the constant cloudiness before our trip but found a way to make it work.

Weekend Trip to Secluded BLT Cabin
This secluded rustic cabin is a perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle. Beautiful property that is very well maintained and the privacy is unmatched. I would definitely come back.

Stephanie was a very helpful and friendly host and the cabin was absolutely what we looking for. It had all the amenities we needed to sleep/cook/relax comfortably while being completely private and peaceful. Our pups loved being able to run around off leash all weekend long and taking a swim in the pond. None of us wanted to leave and we will definitely try to come back in future ❤️
