Harvey’s Hill is a private hilltop campsite with 360° sky views, unbeatable stargazing, and access to our rustic Cantina featuring bathrooms, warm running water, and a basic kitchen. Just 10 minutes off the highway in Epping, NH, it’s the perfect stopover or peaceful escape. Harvey's Hill has been a beloved part of Epping for generations. In the summer, you might see small planes taking off from the hilltop airstrip or locals walking their dogs up to catch the sunset. In the fall, my aunt Erica makes donuts down in the Milk Room, and in the winter, the hill fills with sledders racing down its snowy slope. Many celebrations have taken place here over the years, including weddings, reunions, and picnics. The Cantina is a new addition to the top of the hill. It includes three bathrooms, a kitchen, and electricity. While simple and minimalist, these amenities make the site more comfortable, and we hope they enhance your stay.

Surround yourself in the natural beauty of a working flower farm in Maine in this quiet, secluded location that's close to area beaches, lighthouses, and more. Located about an acre behind our family home (which you can see from the spot), the camp site is within steps of our barn, which has both running water and electrical hookups (20amps) for campers to use. An open field next door plays host to numerous deer and turkeys, and the flower fields feature a rotating lineup of beautiful blooms (depending on the time of the season.) We are located off a busy street where cars drive a little too fast — if you have a dog that needs to be walked daily, we would recommend stopping by the beach or one of the many nearby walking trails instead of venturing down the road. Max length of vehicles is 30 feet -- we've found that any longer and the turns are too tight. 10 mins to grocery store (Hannaford) and gas stations 12 mins to local beaches (Long Sands and Short Sands) 15 mins to Portsmouth, NH 20 mins to Nubble Lighthouse 25 mins to Ogunquit, ME 35 mins to Kennebunkport, ME 45 mins to Portland, ME This is a working flower flower farm and on occasion there will need to be someone working in the field near to the campsite, often during the very early hours of the morning (5am during the spring and summer, later in the fall.) That said, we don't use tractors or any heavy machinery and we will always make our best effort to communicate this ahead of time.

Large camping spot on the edge of a 125-acre farm. Site has an open area with sunny or shaded place to set up camp. Guests are welcome to walk or hike around the property. There are open fields and some rough hiking trails (wear good shoes!) Small stream runs through the property and there are wild turkeys, deer and other wildlife about. This is a rustic site with picnic table, fire ring and chemical toilet. Pretty and peaceful. Established in 2004, we are an 87 acre ATFS certified Tree Farm located in the Blue Hills Range in the Foothills to NH’s White Mountains. Choose from one of four unique sites / outdoor spaces to best fit your camping needs; book a combination to reserve a section of the mountain, or book all four sites for total privacy or for events. Our Farm spans the northerly side of Hussey Mountain from the base to the summit. Guests are provided with private access to several miles of multi-use nature trails, multiple scenic lookouts, a three acre PYO blueberry maze, and a dock on our private eight acre pond with available boat rentals. At the 2WD shared parking area guests are provided with a outdoor shower with hot and cold water, a portable toilet, garden hose for washing, a power strip for charging devices, and a spigot with potable water for filling containers. Over two decades ago we created our first campsite for the purpose of hosting family and friends. Folks enjoyed camping on the mountain so much they often would choose our farm over traditional campgrounds. Hosting campers became a regular weekend event, and to accommodate more people we created three more sites spread out across the property. In 2020, we came across the Hipcamp app and started offering private reservations to the public. Since, we have been hosting campers on a daily basis and continuously improving our sites / infrastructure / views. We’re excited to see what the next two decades hold; come join us on the mountain! Things to do on the mountain SPRING-FALL include… Hiking on several miles of maintained nature trails marked with clear signage for easy day/night navigation. Relaxing/taking in the scenery from several scenic lookouts located on and around the mountain’s summit; combined they provide a 360-degree view spanning from the NH/ME Seacoast to the White Mountains of NH, to the Green Mountains of VT. Fishing, paddling, swimming, or relaxing on our dock. Bird/wildlife watching, berry picking, stargazing and leaf peeping. This is a place you can easily spend a few days and keep busy!

THIS CAN BE RENTED AS A CAMPSITE ONLY. Our 3-acre property is surrounded by beautiful countryside with lots country charm. At one point in the early 1900's it was home to itinerant farmers who farmed the nearby fields. Our property was the dumping grounds for the stones/rocks that were pulled from the fields. You will notice lots of them throughout the property! Our site is a well manicured area near our house on a 3-acre parcel. There is lots of sun and shade depending on when and where you happen to be on the site. There is plenty of space to pull out your favorite lawn game and a great firepit to keep warm at night. We are about 10 minutes from Clough State Park where there is plenty to do including swimming, paddling, biking, hiking, ATVing, etc. Our site has 50amp service and filtered well water (2 spigots). Depending on how long your RV is, you may not be able to put our your awning all the way.

Eben was very welcoming and communicative He answered all of our questions and provided a great tour of our campsite as well as the walking trails on the tree farm. He put a lot of thought into the site and we loved the outdoor shower and sink. The site was very quiet and at night we could hear the owls which was very cool. We also had an issue with our RV and needed a wrench and Eben came right down and assisted us I would highly recommend this Hipcamp. My only disappointment was we did not have time to hike the mountain and see the beautiful views, next time.!

First off, Eben is an excellent host. He makes sure you have everything you need. The base camp site is huge. It has a large table for cooking so you can spread out your stuff. Also, the hiking trails are great and the map Eben supplies is very well made and easy to follow. This is the third time I’ve been here and I’m coming back at the end of June. It’s an overall excellent experience.

Great camp site, lots of room to spread out with an on property hike. Eben was a super host, took great care to accommodate us. Prepaid for fire wood which was super dry and ready to enjoy. Amenities such as electrical, running water and hot shower was fantastic. We will be back to enjoy again. Lots of space for a 24' travel trailer/pick up truck. Highly recommend, nice place Eben!!!

My husband, our small dog, our indoor cat and I camped on Julie's property in our truck camper for three nights. We were looking to relax after a very busy time, and happily we were able to do so here. Throughout our stay, Julie maintained a nice balance between being present and available to us and totally allowing us our privacy, which we really appreciated. We used the electricity she provided, which was very helpful, and we didn't need water, which was also offered to guests. Although Julie sells her own organic products, she did not try to sell us anything while we were there. We were encouraged to make full use of her property, which has a very nice back yard with a little table and chairs and two very comfy looking cushioned chairs that I wished we'd had the weather to sit out on. It was windy and rainy for most of this weekend, and we were visiting friends and family elsewhere some of the time. We did spend a very nice first afternoon there having a leisurely lunch at the backyard table. We recommend Julie's property for your stay, and we will most likely return for another weekend in the near future.

We enjoyed staying at Julie’s place! Her house is on a quiet street and the beautiful town of Portsmouth is close by. The site was leveled, and came with water and electricity.

Great experience. Met the host right when I arrived. Very convenient location to Concord and all of the Thoreau sites. I was left alone (which I always like when camping), and the site had a nice view off the back for stargazing at night. Would use it again if I am in the area.

Weekend Trip to Hussey Mountain Tree Farm

My Wife, Fur Baby, and I stayed at Eben’s land for a weekend and had an Amazing Time!!! Let me start of by saying the host Eben was wonderful!!! He met us upon arrival and was so kind and friendly and welcoming. He goes out of his way to show you how things at the site work and truly makes sure you understand how to operate everything. He had given us a map of the property and showed us everything his land had to offer and asked us what exactly what we were looking to do. Upon us answering what it was we were looking to do his made suggestions to accommodate our needs. He made suggestions around the area that were dog friendly so we would be able to accommodate our fur baby as well. Which was very thoughtful! After we were all set with everything he left us to ourselves and what a beautiful peaceful place it is. We chose the following morning to take a hike around the property and were pleasantly pleased with all the Beautiful Views his property had to offer. There’s nothing better than lying on a hammock and looking at Mountain View’s of the Fall Foliage. It truly looked like views you would see in a book or a movie. They were truly breathtaking. It was so nice to see our fur baby run free in the wilderness and soak up all the new scents. He was in heaven. This place is relaxing, peaceful, and just what we needed to disconnect from the daily hustle and bustle of Life. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to others and we will most certainly be back without a doubt.

Lovely spot! Easy to find, and the host is readily available by phone. Enjoyed the beautiful little pasture behind the parking spot with white-tailed deer, as well as the running path (Bruce Freeman Rail Trail) nearby for a morning jog through the forest boasting gorgeous fall colors. Plus, took the kids across the street before bedtime to play on the elementary school playground - perfectly accessible, yet felt very private. Would definitely recommend/would stay again.

Eben reached out ahead of our arrival to ensure he could meet us and provide detailed instructions about the property’s layout, complete w/ a map & personalized advice on local attractions. Our primary goal was to relax & enjoy the hiking trails on the property. Eben provided clear directions for navigating the mountain & even provided a few links w/ hiking ideas & an ice cream recommendation later that evening. The next day, we set out to explore. My daughter was thrilled to navigate us through the blueberry bush maze. We also found a playground w/ basketball, bocce ball, & horseshoes—a fantastic little spot! The hike to the summit was memorable, & we appreciated the chance to relax in a hammock along the way. Campsite 3 was unoccupied, so we made a detour & enjoyed the beautiful views & hammocks there. My daughter particularly loved the spooky trail we encountered on our hike! This was the cleanest & most thoughtfully organized campsite I’ve ever experienced. The on-site porta potty was impressively maintained & the shower was excellent. The picnic table & additional cooking/prep table were both excellent &, most importantly, level! The campsite provided a charcoal grill, complete w/ a nice table beside it, & a hose running next to the fire pit. Eben was a wonderful host, & his property is simply spectacular. His ice cream recommendation was seriously some of the best we’ve ever had! I highly recommend stopping by for a visit—you won’t be disappointed!

Weekend Trip to Hussey Mountain Tree Farm

We had a great time. Eben was a wonderful host, he replied right away to any questions I had before and during our stay. His directions were very helpful, and he greeted us right when we pulled in. The property itself was beautiful and the trails were easy to navigate. Everything was well thought out. There was plenty of space to prep for meals, lights that illuminated the site as well as solar lights all around the property. You can tell he really cares about the land, and wants everyone who visits to appreciate it as well. We will definitely be going back!
