A hammock chair overlooking the river is a great place to enjoy the peace that this view of river offers. You are only a few miles from 3 North Maine Woods gate entrances. 2 nights at Portage Lakeside Cabins

First the site is amazing! 4-5 RV sites with Full 30/50 hookups, water and septic. But there are also several quaint, but spacious cabins on the property situated right near the lake. All of which come fully stocked with everything you need. What most won't understand is how amazingly well kept everything is, like in the bathhouse with 2 toilet/shower rooms sit next to the laundry services. Every detail was thought about, everything was spotless clean, and ready for guest use. Then, the host Matthew... OMG! We have found the GOAT of RV site hosts, ladies and gentlemen. Kind, flexible, informative, and understanding, especially to guests like us, who were late to arrive and needed the booking modified. I couldn't recommend this location enough. Can we give 6 stars? 5 just isn't enough. Don't look elsewhere in the area, this is the place you should experience.

Matthew and his family keep the grounds topnotch. The covered pavilion overlooking the lake is a great addition. Bathhouse amazing. Kayaks available. Loons calling out at night. Thank you for a great stay!
