Great place to relax, great hosts.
This is a great spot for a quiet weekend. Other places that we went to were for hiking/exploring. This time we wanted to have fun in a pool and wide open spaces to play with the kids and dog.
Pros: Very nice pool, super friendly hosts, lots to do (ping pong, pet goats, bonfires, pool, and more). The hosts are flexible and really want to help make your stay great. We tripped over a hole and they came to fill it right away.
The pool area has chairs, a hammock, and sweet dogs. It is very pretty, with a fountain and landscaping. There are huge fields to cavort, or just relax in your camping spot.
We really enjoyed our stay.
Cons: Don't go if you will need AC due to only having limited electric (which they are very honest about)
Make sure to pack a camping table to eat outside as there are no picnic tables. They do allow drinks (no glass) and snacks at the pool.
There is a road nearby with traffic sounds but not too bad.
The biggest thing is to make sure that you go very wide (especially with a trailer) when pulling in to make sure that you don't hit their bridge wall (wood with reinforced steel).
