#3 - Cliff Side
Beautiful View
This is a nice campground and very friendly. We enjoyed the #3 Cliff side. It was mostly secluded with a wonderful view. The only issue we had was the short walk to set up camp and the trains... Too many trains in the valley below.

RV1 Site
Excellent service, beautiful park.
We had an incredible weekend in RV Spot 1. We had a huge grassy area, covered pavilion/table and the best view. This spot was a little different from normal RV spots but we quickly realized what a gem it is. The only downfall, it was hard to level and there were no trees very close. We didn’t care- the kids were able to play soccer, throw frisbees, play on the playground, and watch sunsets. Memories we will cherish for a lifetime.
We loved the gift shop, trails and gentlemen working. We are ready to go again!

RV1 Site
One thing you should know is that it isn't a traditional RV site. It's the corner of a parking lot that is very unlevel. We had to use quite a few blocks just to get our auto leveler to activate. You also might need an extension cord, but they said they have one to loan out if necessary. After that, all was well. The park is beautiful. The hiking paths are well maintained. The people are fantastic. The stone is amazing. The gift shop is really cool.
Overlook Pavilion (OP)
Not Private, rude staff
Great area, very organized, staffing was rude. No explanation on what trees to cut and what trees weren’t allowed to be cut.
First guy that confronted us was completely unprofessional and was livid with our action. Didn’t explain to us what exactly was the issue other then us cutting his trees.
2nd guy comes around and didn’t even introduces himself, calls us ignorant and drove off.
Regardless was a good area. Area claims to be a beginner safe site

#10 - Upper Camp Loop
The park is clean and peaceful.
We really enjoyed Heavener Runestone Park. It was very clean and peaceful. We stayed at campsite #10, the most remote site at the park. It is a very steep hike to the campsite, but we didn't mind. But it might be hard for someone with any health issues. The only problem we had was that the local water is brown and we didn't feel comfortable drinking it. So you might want to pack in your own water supply. The camp store was fun and the trails were beautiful. Such a beautiful view of the town from the hilltop, too.
