I would definitely comeback and stay at the Bell Tent again! The Bell Tent is the last site. There is a downhill hike of about 9-12 minutes to get to it. It gets really hot during the hot weather, so I would advise to bring the biggest fan you can. Joe was very friendly. I was able to get the alone time in the woods I was looking for! Thanks for sharing the beautiful community with us! The

First time camping in our trailer we purchased and it was perfect. It was beautiful. Very well kept, no trash anywhere! The porta potty was the cleanest I had ever saw. The water is clear...oh I can go on and on. I will absolutely book here again. If you live around there...or even if you don't, this place is a must! Very very responsive host. 1 night at Hippie Hill

We absolutely loved camping here. We opted for the wall tent and we loved the “icy freeze” fan. In the morning there was the lightest rain, so we enjoyed the sound of the rain on the canvas, but thanks to a nice breeze, we never got too hot. It was too windy for a fire, but The Healthy Hippy Cafe had Taco Tuesday with the best jack fruit tacos I ever had! The drinks were fantastic and there was even an open mic night. Live music, great food, and a night spent in nature. I’m not a seasoned camper by any means—I’m more of a spa day girl, but this was incredible!

What a great experience! Pretty views, coyotes in the background. And right by the wildlife refuge. The camp is just behind a great little restaurant and bar. Kelly & Darrell were great hosts. It is important to recognize you are out in nature - landscape, critters, snakes are not your friends - but I felt safe and comfortable the whole trip. Loved Hippie Hill!

Wow. This property is beautiful, well kept, and fairly private. The owner, Laquita, was very nice and super helpful. The creek was a perfect backdrop to our camp fire. The park was clean and the host was very nice. The Rune Stone was fantastic. I was able to see one of the best sunsets of my life from the outlook area. I hope to be able to go back to this park some day.

4 nights at Hickman Hideaway

I camped for a week at the river site and it was a fantastic time. It is 100% private except for the occasional barge. The site backs up to forest which feels 20 degrees cooler so it'd be great during summer. The shade is plentiful! I will be back for sure. The path down to the site can be a little iffy so I'd recommend 4x4 if there has been recent heavy rainfall. The hosts are some of the kindest people I have met. They are warm and genuinely care about your experience.
