Wheatland RV Ranch
Our host Melissa was great but the overall appearance was appalling. There was a loose dog when we drove in and it was very hard to swing a big rig and truck into the lot with the fences on each side. Also the water & electric were way up at the front of the lot so we had to pull way up to hook them up. Also water leaked a lot. I must say we were very disappointed.

This was a great quiet little campground. We had some issues with the camper the first night but it was nothing major and the host was so accommodating and helpful. We would recommend this place and the rental of the camper on site to friends.

The least enjoyable Hipcamp experience we’ve had over the last five years,however, the host was incredibly accommodating and helpful when it came to consistent dog barking from several Full-time RVs in her park. I take responsibility for not asking more detailed questions for instance: how many full-time RVs do you have on your property? in this case there were at least eight it seems. from now on that question will be the first one I ask! People who live on property kind of rule the roost we were the outsider in this case. The host was able to contact the manager and keep the dogs quiet after 8 PM but people who live there came in and out as they please up until 1:30 AM. We were kept awake with trucks coming in and out and loud conversations after 1AM.
It was a pretty location and had a wonderful sunset, but it is not peaceful by any means and it was impossible to get any rest between the dogs the traffic on the freeway and the on-site RV/tenants lifestyle.

Had the amenities, was close to the Interstate,, and was a quick overnight with opportunity to charge our batteries and fill the water tank. Met a real cowboy and artist who had an interesting life story. Thank you Marissa for sharing your land!

The rv sites were very clean and well cared for. Melissa went out of her way to communicate with us and even had a fireworks show! We’d definitely stay there again!
