Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
On this 75 acre property, there are many beautiful places to pitch a tent. There are 40 acres of trees sitting next to a dry river bed and roughly 30 acres of Prarie land in a valley. We have a beautiful view of Laramie Peak! This property is roughly a 15 mile drive to Glendo State Park, roughly 17 miles, as the crow flys, from Laramie Peak and Medicine Bow National Forest.

This 75 acre property has many beautiful places to pitch a tent. With 40 acres of trees that are right next to a dry river bed and about 30 acres of prairie land in a valley. Camping here is all dry camping with many campsite options to choose from. Glendo State Park is roughly a 15 mile drive from this property with many biking and hiking trails. There is swimming, boating, and fishing as well. There is also access to the Platte River from the State Park where you can enjoy fishing, floating or kayaking. Laramie Peak and Medicine Bow National Forest are roughly 17 miles, as the crow flies, from our property. There are many hiking and off-road trails located in the mountain area.

Caleb was very accommodating to my last minute plan to drive in to Wyoming to see the Northern Lights. He was communicative and showed me to a spot he thought would be comfortable. The land was beautiful and peaceful, away from light and noise pollution! I brought my dog and we camped in the car.

My group absolutely loved tent camping on Caleb’s land. We had our own secluded spot with a gorgeous sunset spot and the stars were absolutely incredible. He made sure we got there okay and we’re all set for the night. 100% will be staying again!

The site was beautiful! Caleb and his wife Vanessa were very helpful and accommodating. I would recommend having at least all wheel drive as you’re bushwhacking a bit but for great benefit!

Great Spot To Unwind

This is a great spot to really unwind, especially if you want to be near the reservoir like we did. Caleb was a fantastic host who greeted us and showed us to a spot he thought we'd like. We had the run of the whole land, which my dogs absolutely loved. Tons of wildflowers and sagebrush with just a few cacti to watch out for. The smell was amazing and our stay was very quiet. I would definitely come back!
