We offer a raised 12x12 leveled tent platform situated in a wooded grove with a seasonal stream, located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of downtown Vashon's restaurants, galleries, and shops. The site is exclusive to the property - there will be no other campers. This ideal location is perfect for anyone looking to explore Vashon Island by car, or bicycle. Peruse the native plant garden we have installed, and don't be surprised if you see deer families as well. The site features a "honey bucket" portable restroom, potable water, and a picnic table.The site is a 12x12 raised wooden platform for campers to pitch their tents, set up any camp chairs, etc. This is a private experience - with no other campers present. The site receives sun exposure from morning until early afternoon. A deer trail runs throughout the property, allowing campers to stroll through and enjoy the many native plant species we have established. Campers will likely spot local deer families. Above the site, near the property entrance, is a portable toilet. There are no hookups at this site, but potable water is available. There is no fire pit, but cooking on a propane camp stove is acceptable.

This location is ideal for campers who want to stay in town and have a quiet forested campsite that is within walking distance of a grocery store, wine and This is a fantastic spot if you want to camp somewhere that feels tucked into nature but still be right in town. The campsite is quiet, forested, and peaceful, yet it’s an easy walk to a grocery store, wine and cider tastings, and plenty of bars and restaurants. We loved being able to set up camp, unpack our bikes, and explore everything nearby without needing to drive. The site itself is well set up with a sturdy tent platform, a nice picnic area, and a port-a-potty—simple but exactly what we needed. It was especially peaceful in the evenings, and we even had deer wander through the campsite, which made the experience feel extra special. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a mix of convenience and a calm, nature-filled stay.

Great option on vashon island, easy to just pull in and get a nice night sleep, provided solar charging and water and a clean porta potty. you won’t find much on the island and so this is super convenient location and easy deal, Tara was helpful w the booking and seems very friendly

This campsite was perfect for my trip: Great central location, hidden from the road, clean HoneyBucket, potable water access. I forgot I was pitching my tent on a platform, so I couldn't stake it down, and was thankful it wasn't windy. I used the eye hooks on the side of the platform to anchor my tent down, so that was nice. All in all, I was pleased.

The site was in the ideal location. Being within walking distance from the town was so convenient; anything I needed was just five minutes away. The platform made for comfortable tent pitching, and keeping things charged with the solar charger was a very nice amenity. Looking forward to returning.

Super convenient spot we found at the last-minute. Made for a great place to spend the night and extend our exploration of Vashon Island. Just a couple blocks from the main drag and its charming shops and cafes, including Sporty's, which we hit for breakfast. Tara was responsive, and having the potable waterline into the site was super helpful!

We loved tent camping at this site! The platform really elevated the experience. We loved how close to town the site was without losing privacy or the feel of being in nature. We walked to a great restaurant for dinner, enjoyed breakfast from a local bakery, and picked up some delicious snacks from the grocery store - all within walking distance! We noticed some electric bike and paddle board/kayak rentals nearby which we will be checking out next time!

Cozy Spot Close to Vashon Fun

We set our tent up on the platform, which was super convenient (no need to worry about rocks or finding level ground) and had plenty of room for our setup plus camp chairs. It made everything feel more organized and comfortable. The location was perfect—a short walk into the main part of Vashon, just a few blocks to restaurants, bars, and shops. We loved being able to explore during the day and come back to a peaceful, cozy campsite at night. Would definitely recommend this spot and would stay again!
