Was a beautiful spot along the river. Felt very private but we were also the only ones there due to weather. Even though it was raining we still had fun and stayed dry in the "shack". Also had a lovely shower and bathroom that were a major bonus!

Taylor was great host, good communication as well. Little cooler by river so make sure to bring layers. There are enough sites by water to have space if multiple groups book.

Campsite farthest to the right
The campsite was nice when there was just our group by the river, but I can see it won't be as secluded if there are more than 2 groups. The bathroom was clean and nice. There are also shower and laundry machines but we didn't use them. The only down side I would say is the field across the street seemed to be spraying pesticides on Sunday morning and it was pretty close to the sites.

Gorgeous spot right on the river! After rocking up to our previously booked site only to be told the host was no longer providing camping, we were lucky to find Taylor’s land available at the last minute! Site was peaceful and beautiful. Clean toilet and shower, plus a washer dryer for use! Taylor was super nice and helpful. Only one other bunch of campers at the site who were lovely. Plenty of privacy. Looking forward to coming back! Thanks Taylor!!

Amazing first experience using hipcamp. Loved the spacious RV sites near the river. Plenty of room for my dog to run around. Had a nice campfire under the stars. Will definitely be back soon!!

Right to the right of the sauna
Great spot! It truly is right on the river. Bathroom facilities were clean and better than what we often find. We were the only people there… there are spots for a few more, which may have changed the feel, but it seems like you could spread out enough to have some privacy. I suspect we’ll be back!

Taylor is an extremely gracious host. Quick, friendly, and informative responses whenever we had a question or needed help. The campground layout is very straightforward. The bathroom is a 3/4 bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower. The hot water was amazzzziiiing. Also, the bathroom has a washer/dryer! It was stocked with hand soap, paper towels, body soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, laundry detergent, etc. Remember to bring your towel! Otherwise, the river and mountain views are exceptional. We definitely recommend staying here!

I loved the view and connecting wit the natural world (skagit river, spawning salmon, birds). Quiet and what a sky full of stars. Great fire pit wit generous kindling and logs. Would totally recommend and as always leave a place better than you found it.

A really beautiful and peaceful location. We had the place pretty much to ourselves. Right on the river. Even saw some returning salmon.

My daughter and I enjoyed our weekend stay at Taylor’s property. The full bathroom and shower were nice additions along with the full power and water hookups. There are no sewer hookups (FYI).
As a purely situational awareness, the sites are first come first serve, which we were not aware of when booking. Thankfully we got there early enough to get a prime spot overlooking the river.
Also just so everyone is aware, it is a rural area, and the neighbors a couple of houses down likes to shoot target practice. He was shooting off an on for about an hour. It was a little bit unnerving for us, but we ultimately dealt with it. Taylor was quick to respond and understood our concerns and came to talk to us later that day. 👍
Other than the random target practice, it’s a very pew and quiet spot. We met a nice group of campers at the next site over who have been there before and not experienced anything like the gunfire before.

This land has electricity and water for every site plus the added benefit of a washroom and shower where many campsites only have porta pottys. Most sites appear to have their own water access, we had the best site as the river was just a short walk down the hill and we had a higher up “beach” area with a great view of the river and sunset.

This was a beautiful spot along the Skagit that we enjoyed for our family's first RV trip. Taylor was a generous and helpful host who answered all our questions, gave helpful tips, and was available to us when needed. The setting was peaceful and our kids had a great time in the wide open play spaces. We'd definitely recommend!

Very nice place. Large place for our dogs to run and has a lot of privacy. There are blueberry fields nearby, which would be great if we came in blueberry season. It has a beautiful mountain view. We made a campfire at night and enjoyed a beautiful night with all the stars. Dogs are happy and play around.
Our host Taylor is very friendly, help us to get to the camping place and gave us some advice.

Overall, the campsite served the needs of my group well. Leading up to the stay, the host was responsive to my questions about the site, which I appreciated.
There was however a miscommunication with the host that tainted my experience. A ball was dropped and it was hard to know whose job it was to pick it up (the host, hipcamp, or myself). When I was reserving the site, the host and I messaged back and forth. I asked to reserve two sites on the river to accommodate a group of 13 people for the weekend. We discussed price for two sites ($500) and confirmed this as possible. There was an issue however with the Hipcamp reservation system making it so I could only reserve one site for a max of 6 people. We messaged about this and I assumed that since the issue was on hipcamp's end, the host would update the reservation to reflect our conversation and I would pay the remaining $100 reservation fee (having already paid $400). Much to my surprise then, when my group started to arrive, there was only one site on the river available, much too small to fit everyone. It was crowded and we ended up camping on the field. After the fact, the host and I sorted out the miscommunication. I asked for a refund for part of the fee to reflect the cost differential of the less expensive field site vs the river site. He was unwilling to do this.
Lesson learned? Follow up to confirm if needing something that the hipcamp reservation system can't handle, particularly for groups.

Beautiful spot by a gorgeous river! Host was very responsive and greeted us right away. A few shops and restaurants within a 10 min drive. Lots of nearby hikes and close to Rodale Institute at Cascadian Farm.

Campsite is beautiful and the spots are large, but didn’t have the best experience. When we arrived the house was being worked on. Not sure if it’s part of the property but it seemed like it was. They were pressure washing for at least 3-4 hours after we arrived and the noise was extremely loud. Wasn’t the greatest experience, we wanted a nice chill relaxing weekend in nature and listed to a pressure washer for hours. Bathroom was nice but frequently occupied so lots of waiting around. I wish there was a cap on occupancy limits for each campsite. There was at least 30 people in the other two sites, half of them being kids. Which we didn’t mind but a lot more than we expected so naturally a lot louder than what we expected. If you’re from the are you know that the river might not be the safest to float or paddle board in, the current can be strong. Life vests could be a must unless you were just walking in the shallow area. 5.5/10 just for the fact that the noise made it a very unreal zing experience.
