Cheryle’s property is absolutely fabulous! Third year in a row at tent site 2. The site is so private, and the firewood supplied was so dry and caught fire immediately during our strange cold, wet late August weekend. Love the horses. What a special place. Spent two days biking and loved the privacy upon returning. Will return!

My husband and I (plus our dog) stayed at the Tent 2 site for a night between travels from Lake Willoughby to Dog Mountain, and we loved it! It was the perfect space - secluded, quiet, spacious, flat for our tent set-up, big stone ring for campfires, an abundance of fire wood, and a big picnic table. The space itself was very clean, and the picnic table was in perfect condition. The ground was also soft in some spots with mossy growth, so it was comfortable for our tent and our dog loved laying on it when he wasn’t on his cot. The property itself is also lovely with all the animals and the apple orchard in the distance. The animals were in the upper section of the property, so you are distanced if you’re at the cabins or tent sites (which is perfect if you have a dog that’s a bit afraid of horses, like ours). We met Cheryl on the way out, and she is very sweet and accommodating. We’d definitely return and would recommend this space to other campers!

I really enjoy camping at Burke Line Farm. It’s a beautiful spot only 10 minutes from lake willoughby and 30 minutes from Saint J. The cabins and portajohns are clean and there is so much firewood available to use. There are individual spots for fires and a big communal one with a grate to cook on. The sky was clear and you could see so many stars!

J'ai bien aimé le lieu même si j'ai eue un peu peur des coyotes durant la nuit 😆 beau site avec wifi et du bois à volonté pour faire un feu. J'essayerai un jour les prêts à camper. J'ai adorer voir les cheveux aussi super sociable.

This beautiful spot is perfect for a weekend getaway! It had everything we needed, including plenty of firewood on site. The layout was spacious and quiet, making it a great place to relax. We enjoyed taking a walk around the property and seeing the animals. We also met Cheryle, who was friendly and happy to share some farm fresh eggs.

Enjoyed our stay here on Cheryle’s little campsite. My husband and I stayed in one of the sheds. Definitely make sure you bring plenty of bedding and light sources because the cabin stays pretty dim even during the day, and despite it being July our nights were pretty chilly. There is plenty of firewood though! It was a cute place to call home base for a few days while out exploring the area, and the various other campers nearby were all friendly and courteous.

Very cute camping spots with lots of places to explore. Peaceful meadows and mountains and lots of horses to say hi to. Would love to go stay again and do a trail ride.

Beautiful. Cheryl was very friendly and so was Tank! My children loved them and the all the animals. Also close to some nice towns like St. Johnsbury and Lyndon. Site was pretty good, even close to the horses. Just alot of stumps still but we had plenty of room for our tent. If we camp in Vermont we will return.

We love this place! We can’t wait to come back! The place was clean. Firewood plentiful and dry. We sat on the covered porch during rain this morning with coffee and stayed dry and cozy.

I absolutely loved our stay at the coyote cabin!! Horses everywhere you look, cool walking trails behind the cabins. Cheryle offered fresh eggs, free firewood, and great conversations. Her Dog Tank is an absolute cutie, plus the farm animals she lets you take a look at whenever you want was the best! There was everything you needed to camp in the cabin or under the gazebo, from foil to cooking equipment. We will definitely come back again!❤️

The camping area was absolutely peaceful and oh so quiet - except for the robins as they beautifully sang the sun down at the end of the day! The cabin was rustic and the cots comfortable and there were windows that could be opened for room ventilation. Wood for the campfire was available right next to the cabin, and kindling was also provided! The outhouse was conveniently located and not stinky. We were in the area to bike at the Kingdom Trails - which were really quite close. For people who have spider fears it's worth mentioning that both the outhouse and the cabin have a few spider residents. They posed no problems for us as they seemed to stay in their chosen corners! We would highly recommend this hip camp and definitely hope to be able to stay there again.

This place is just wow, nothing but good things to say about the experience! The little cabins are just right, super clean, 3 working windows with good ventilation. The horses (quite friendly and well socialized) are right there which is surreal and a big highlight.
All the dry, and I mean dry, firewood you could want, super stocked covered communal kitchen area was a great hangout spot in the rain. Bathrooms very clean as well. Wifi beats my home service.
Wasn’t sure about staying in place without showers, but the river dips turned out to be a great part of our mountain bike trip.
The owners crushed it here, thanks to them for sharing the land, it felt like a privilege, and we’ll for sure be back.

This was definitely the best camp site I’ve ever rented in Vermont. Great location and there are scenic views are all around the area. The walking trails were great and the amenities are the best I’ve had from a Hipcamp experience. I’ll definitely be back!

Our stay on Cheryle's land was amazing from start to finish! They were expecting bad storms during out trip, so we stayed in the whitetail cabin, which was warm and dry throughout the storms! The free firewood was amazing, and the area around the campsite was so nice– axe-throwing, a pavilion with gas stoves, and plenty of gorgeous trails to walk along! We even got to visit the animals on the farm! 10/10, highly recommend.

Old Fox Cabin
Cabin was clean and the area was well maintained. Lots of outdoorsy entertainment with ax throwing, horseshoes, trails and more. Nice place and will stay again.

I had an awesome stay on Cheryle's property! I had booked a tent site but because of the rainy weather stayed in the Whitetail cabin. The cabin was clean and comfortable. There was firewood provided and the pavilion was a huge bonus as a place to prepare meals and coffee. The camp in general is quiet, beautiful and relaxing. Ill be back for sure. Thank you!
