Dune Cabin
Our whole family thoroughly enjoyed staying at Bay Point Landing. From the saltwater pool to the awesome dune cabin, the kids had an absolute blast. S’mores at night around the campfire and coffee provided in the dune cabin, beautiful grounds and views all around, we will be back!

I enjoyed visiting Bay Point Landing with my partner! It was a relaxing visit on the Oregon coast. The Timber Haus cabin was spacious, especially for just 2. The space was generally clean, and the staff was extremely friendly.
A note that all of the Timber Haus cabins do not have a waterfront view, so bear that in mind when booking.

The glamping resort was luxurious with a clean and beautiful pool and gym. The Airstream rental we stayed in was clean and well equipped for all our needs. I would recommend Bay Point to all my friends looking for an OR rental close to all the fun the coast has to offer.

Easy to find, right on the bay with 180 degree views. Location was prime. The pool is saltwater and felt delicious. The gym had what you’d need. Hiking trails and state parks are just up or down the road. Extremely helpful and kind staff. My little wee cabin was perfect. Kitchen, great shower and the bed was very comfy. Went to the coast to relax and take in the views and I was able to both and beyond.

Lovely location with lots of amenities, however the check-in was pretty frustrating. Driving up we got a call from someone from the Baypoint Landing office requesting a credit card be put on file (but we had paid via Hipcamp). She then said we could text a number when we arrive for instructions. I confirmed with her that our late arrival was okay and she assured me it was. On arrival, I texted the number but no one replied. The slot number isn’t provided on the reservation so we weren’t sure where to go. We walked around in the cold and rain looking for an office and I never received a text back. My partner finally texted the number an hour later and he got a response. Not sure if the network is just not working very well there? Outside of not ever receiving any info, the site was clean and spacious.

Bay Point Landing is a lovely space with a sleek aesthetic, friendly staff, and lots of amenities. They provide a truly elevated glamping experience. Calling the airstreams “Waterview” is absolutely absurd, but it was super cozy and there are plenty of places to view the water elsewhere on the property. The location is a little odd, as you have to travel at least an hour to get to most of the iconic Oregon coast sights, but it’s a good place to hunker down or not bad if you’re willing to drive to adventure. Would absolutely recommend staying here!

The site itself is very nice. The architecture of the buildings and surrounding landscape are stunning. Unfortunately, we don’t feel it was worth what we paid. The check-in experience wasn’t great as the site itself was maybe 30% full, but it took about ten minutes just to be seen. They confirmed an early check in with us via text but when we got there, the place wasn’t ready. We stayed in an airstream with several issues. The airstream door wouldn’t shut all the way, many blinds didn’t work or were broken, cabinet doors were broken, and in the middle of the morning, they had a pipe leak issue and nobody on site could get water. We stayed here for one night to try and get a nice experience and break from our tent camping, but without a shower or fully working airstream, we would have rather skipped this place and stayed elsewhere. The general store is overpriced, so bring supplies with you.

Airstream was very clean. Campground was quiet and beautiful. The pool was great. Having a fire pit was so fun. The bucket of complimentary wood was very nice.

We really enjoyed stay at Bay Point Landing! The airstream had everything we needed and the shared facilities were absolutely beautiful. The pool and lounge areas were especially gorgeous. I really enjoyed being able to take long beach walks in the morning. If we ever head back to Coos Bay, staying here again would be an obvious choice.

My wife and I and few friends stayed at this amazing location for the labor day weekend. We enjoyed the scenic views and amazing company. There was a lot of people as expected for a holiday weekend however it did not feel crowded. Nice space between cabins. On arrival cabin was a bit messy. Staff was quick to help with so items for your dog. Very dog friendly location with pet showers, off leash beach. The surrounding area is beautiful as we drove along the coast stopping for scenic views. Would definitely recommend on a non holiday as the prices are more reasonable then.

Drift Cabin
Awesome spot right on the bay. We saw tugboats pass by daily. Staff and property are amazing with all the amenities you could ask for. Daily coffee, golf cart rentals, a general store. The drift cabin was perfect for us and our baby. Very private and had everything we needed.

What a disappointment! Showers are dirty and no shampoo, conditioner or body wash. Grass is completely dead. Private beach is disgusting and not maintained.

BayPoint was billed as an upscale RV park. Our experience wasn’t even close to that. We were assigned a site. No choosing one! We were there 11 nights. Then told by text we had 20 minutes vacate our site because our reservation had ended. I thought we had one more day but I was wrong. I offered to pay for another night. Was told by text they needed the space for another party and I would have to change sites to stay. They could easily have accommodated my request as they assign sites! We had spent 11 days surrounded by vacancies. Our campsite fees were over $1000! That’s $100 per night to camp in graveled campground!?
Our son had a business commitment in the area. Checked on the rental options. Two nights in an Airstream trailer was nearly $500! They had what they called “Luxury Cabins (Think boxcars or shipping containers with a door, windows, a mini kitchen and bathroom! Same two nights- over $700!
In addition, I was charged $35 for checking out late! If BayPoint wants to claim luxury status, they fell far short. The entire campground was graveled; paving was limited to entrance and check in area. Customer considerations were totally absent! Told by text to “vacate now” and then charged high fees for inability to move to another site!
Personally, I would not ever recommend this campground or any company that supports them. If there were negative stars, they earned a minus 3-4.
Will never even consider returning and will share my experience freely!

We enjoyed the great facilities, including clean bathrooms and showers. Check-in and out was efficient and everyone friendly. Given the time of year and algae bloom, our dog was not able to play in the water and the smell was strong at low tide. However, they thought of everything with doggie shampoo with warm water after playing at nearby Sunset Beach.

Sent three emails with no response three days before my arrival. Was charged for a night that I didn't stay and was over charged by close to $140.00

Perfect spot to end my road trip! The site definitely feels like a resort. I really appreciated the amount of attention and availability from staff. The airstream was clean and incredibly comfortable. Having the beach right on the grounds was perfect. 10/10

I was confused when I booked the motorcoach drive through spot. We were arriving in our travel trailer. The staff was quick in finding a spot for us. We loved the delivery service and proximity to conveniences. All in all it was a pleasant stay and we extended our stay 3 nights.

Food Truck not open during designated hours, campsite map not accurate in indicating access to beach. Beach itself smells rotten and full of old seaweed. Homeless people living around the property and on the same beach. Unpaved gravel roads blowing dust everywhere and dogs hate it to walk on. Dead weeds everywhere in campground with NO green grass. No dog gates allowed and not listed on brochure. Overall misleading from their website and brochure, will not return and do not recommend.

This was my second trip to Bay Point Landing— one wasn't enough! My fiance and I had a great time celebrating our recent engagement here this past weekend. The location, amenities, details, and helpful/responsive staff were all highlights for us. Hope to return again!
