Lots of Space, Good Bathroom
Group trip
- The thing I liked best about this site was that it was large enough to accommodate my group (7 tents, additional cars). Lots of room for sleeping, food, play (we brought a frisbee golf stand and other lawn games and had plenty of room for them)
- There's no hike to the site, which was also a plus.
- The picnic table and firering were as advertised, though it was difficult to sit on one side of the firering due to the ground's downhill slant.
- The bathroom has no amenities - you need to provide your own handsoap, toilet paper, shampoo, etc. - but it's clean, indoors, has electricity, is private, and very easy to access from the campsite.
- My advice to campers is to bring your own wood (the wood provided doesn't burn well because it is not dry aged), bring some sort of canopy because there is no shade, and also to remember to bring enough water to cover your full stay.
Thank you Michael! Your help in planning made this an easy camping trip.
