Great spot to stay. Woke up with horses eating outside of our tent. The lake and views are incredible.

Horses, Fish and Sunsets-Priceless
Whether you are passing through or a local looking for a close get-a-way, I recommend Wildwood Hipcamp 100%! We spent the holiday weekend at Wildwood and it was fantastic. The property is naturally beautiful, quiet, private and easy to navigate. We had no issues with booking the property last minute. The property is a working horse farm with the campsite being located near the horse barn. Power and water hookups for our RV camper were easily accessible. The camp hosts were inviting and answered all of our questions. There is a beautiful lake on the property just in front of the campsite that is sure to provide you with a fabulous sunset. The lake is stocked with bass and brim. There were many fish caught! The horses who reside at the farm are all friendly and entertaining. Our three teenagers loved the property, the horses and the camp hosts! It is definitely on our list of favorite camping experiences.

Wildwood Campsite
This was a gorgeous property. It was enjoyable watching the horses, and our hosts were very gracious. We were also close to the Natchez Trace and were able to take advantage of the bike trail there. This was a very pleasant stay!

opposite of a crowded RV park!!
This is a great place if you are looking for the opposite of a crowded RV park. This is a beautiful, quiet, clean, safe, and private campsite that perfectly suits our needs and expectations: a quiet site to cook dinner outside with a great view of nature (with the comfort of electricity for our RV). The RV plug-in is down by a barn, looking out on a spectacular small lake and with a green treeline on the opposite shore. I easily turned around my 25' trailer in the small gravel culdesac and backed up to the 30amp hookup with no problems. The owners, animals, and views are amazing! Just remember, you are camping on someone's private property. Expectations are everything: Do not expect a paved state park or RV park with playscapes for kids, extra entertainment, and tons of people. But, of course, this is why we love this place (peace, quiet, privacy, and nature!!)

Wildwood Campsite
Wildwood was there perfect stop to and from our destination with our Airstream and two young kids in tow. Helen's communication was excellent. We arrived late in the evening and her instructions to the camp site, which was well lit and level, were helpful. It was a unique experience to wake up next to the beautiful, friendly horses on one side of us and a view of the serene lake on the other. Our kids were welcome to explore the property, which was nice for then to burn some energy. The electric hook-uo and access to water were great amenities. We loved our time at Wildwood and look forward to returning in the future!
