Topisaw Creek forms the eastern border of our property, so plan to spend time on the sandy beaches and rock bars soaking up the sun or hunting for rocks and fossils (petrified wood and arrowheads have been found here). Many folks also enjoy a leisurely float down the creek in inner tubes ('tubing') or in a kayak. (Please note that after heavy rains the creek rises to epic heights and is too dangerous to navigate.) Little to no light pollution makes for amazing stargazing!

Tony and Tracy are dream hosts! Their property is beautiful and well-kept. There was sufficient room for us to throw frisbees and do school with my son outside on nice days. The spot we were in was level gravel with easy access to a covered porch. The sewer connection was a bit far but Tony had an additional sewer hose to help. We left feeling like family. We have friends close by that we like to visit when we can so we will definitely be back and look forward to seeing what they do with their property. Tracy also has quite a few plants and offered us a small plant that she started from a cutting. Such ridiculously kind people.

We loved our 1 night stay at Hometown Host! The directions they provided were clear and easy to follow. Tony and Tracy are super friendly and welcoming. They even invited us to watch the Sugar Bowl with them. Their property is beautifully kept and very quiet at night. Hooking up was a breeze. Their 3 little pups are adorable and sweet natured. Scott was wonderfully welcoming. Showed us around to the fishing and river and hiking trail. Helped set up. Very remote location, and all that is needed. Loved visiting!

Awesome host! Sometimes when you pull up late at night, you never know what you’re going to find. Scott was there to greet us and do everything he could to make sure we were comfortable. It was cold, rainy and he went above and beyond.The directions were easy and helpful. The campsite was incredibly spacious, easy to pull through and hookup to electric/water. No issues whatsoever and very simple to do yourself and in the dark which is why Scott’s assistance was even more notable. We would stay again and would recommend!
